No Presets or Ghost Plugs
The VELOCITY’s unique 2-in-1 LSG slip has bi-directional bits to lock
the plug in place once set and eliminate the risk of ghost plugs (plugs
slipping from their spot. The slip in conjunction with the design prevent
the element from flaring out and causing presets.

Unique Slip Material
➢Magnesium Alloy with Ceramic Buttons
➢ 1.6 Specific Gravity (SG) lighter than Composite
(1.9 SG) and Molded components (2.5 SG)
➢Hardness is 40-55 HRB in line with core of
powdered metals, but with ultra light weight and
not surface hardened like cast iron and
powdered metals

Specifications
➢ ProDrill® Velocity™ Series Composite Frac Plugs
➢ Reliable – Reduces risk of ghost plugs that can result in bypassed reserves
➢ Mitigates Run Risk – with a bottom anti-preset configuration that mitigates impacts during pump down operations
➢ Horizontal Pump Down– Reliable and fast pump down capable up to 800 FPM
➢ Low Specific Gravity Slip- Reduces risk of stuck coil with light weight material that is strong enough to withstand fracturing forces, exceeds drill-ability of powdered metal, while being buoyant to circulate to surface
➢ Ultra Short Design- accelerates drill-outs to decrease time on location

Water SavingsProDrill Velocity Frac Plugs
➢ The VELOCITY plug cuts water usage
significantly while traveling faster
▪ Horizontal run speed to date: 770 FPM @ 20 BPM =
8.75 MPH
▪ On well #1 on 2 well pad, 70% efficiency during pump
down
▪ Used 65 barrels less over competition on stage 36
comparison:
▪ Running the entire pad consistently over 600 FPM
would save over 3,500 barrels of water per well
