The test detects the following parameters in animal urine: Blood Glucose Protein As pets often do not show any clinical symptoms until the disease is in an advanced stage, it is strongly recommended to check their health conditions on a regular basis. Preventive healthcare is crucial, especially with dogs and cats that are middle-aged and overweight. If detected early, an abnormal condition can be treated promptly, reducing the chances of a serious medical or surgical intervention. TEST MATERIALS PROVIDED: Test device in a foil pouch Color Chart Instruction for use PRECAUTIONS: Do not touch reagent pads on strips. Do not use test after the expiration date. Test is for single use only. Wash hands carefully after testing. For in-vitro diagnostic use. Not suited for color-blind people. STORAGE: Store test device in its foil pouch in a dry area at room temperatures, until ready to use. SPECIMEN COLLECTION: Collect urine specimen using the following methods: Dogs: free catch in urine stream with container Cats: with clean gravel or non-absorbent litter Urine should be used within 1 hour after it is excreted. Only 2 to 3ml, or a spoonful of urine specimen is needed for testing. TEST PROCEDURE: 1. Tear pouch and remove test device 2. Remove Paw Cap 3. Dip exposed test strip area into urine specimen for 10 seconds. 4. Replace cap and leave test device ona flat surface. 5. After 2 minutes, align the three pads on the device to the three rows on the color chart provided. Read results by comparing colors. Colors beside are only indicative. Use color chart provided seperately. NEGATIVE: If the color of reagent pad(s) matches the color on the left column, also indicated as the NEGATIVE column, the test is negative. Repeat test every 3 months as preventive care for pet. If symptoms persist, consult a veterinarian. POSITIVE: If the color(s) of any or all reagent pad(s) match(es) the color on the right columns, also indicated as the POSITIVE columns, the test is positive. Consult a veterinarian. CB00110816
