“Find what you are passionate about doing and use this passion to make a positive impact to those around
you. Do not be afraid to fail. Failure is merely an opportunity to start fresh and be better than before.
Stay persistent in your devotion to the Lord and never sell yourself short of working hard and improving
yourself everyday.” ACA Salutatorian Gabriella Vasquez
“God has big plans for us and knows we will do great things, so he cut our army down so that we can prosper
and shine in His name. This, my fellow graduates is exactly what we will do. I would not trade my army
for the world because I am a strong believer that it is better to have quality over quantity, and that is exactly
what we have here.” ACA Valedictorian Brian Phillips
L-R: Dean of Students Cheryl Clopton, Class Sponsor Paul James, Commencement Speaker Pastor Bernard King, Sr., ACA President Pastor Mark Davis and Headmaster Jim Rozendal.
Jer 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

ACA Summer Reading ChallengeAre you ready for a new and refres
hing approach to engage in summer reading?
Please visit the home page of our website and click on ‘Campus News‛ to select the reading challenge for your child. LET‛S MAKE IT FUN! We would love for you to take pictures of your 1st-8th grade students reading
this summer in their favorite place, on vacation, or any other interesting location. Please email photos to ACA at
[email protected]. We encourage you to read along with your child, ask them comprehension questions, and review the story elements,
such as character, setting, problem, and solution. (You may refer to the helpful Parental Prompt page online for suggestions on how to assist them as they
exercise learned comprehension skills as well.) Our goal is for students to have fun reading
while exploring all the places they can go in the world of literature!
YUMMY! Every participating ACA student will be invited to a fun ice cream party when we return to school to celebrate our reading journeys this summer!
Thank you for supporting your
students‛ excitement about reading! In His Name,
Miss Espina and Mrs. Swanson
