SPRING FAIR CALENDARS The calendars from the Spring Fair have arrived and are available for collection from the front office. As some of the items are gifts, please phone the office or send in a note if you would like the calendars sent home with your children, otherwise they will be held at the office for you to collect.
** School Fees ** Thank you to all the families that have finalised their school fees for 2015. Unless you have a direct debit, a direct deposit or a payment arrangement in place, any unpaid School Fees are overdue. Direct Debiting is a simple, reliable and economic way of settling your account. We urge you to take this opportunity to simplify your payment arrangements by completing a Direct Debit Request Form at the office. As we are close to the end of the year we encourage anyone with outstanding fees to finalise them as soon as possible. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact the office.
Families with existing Direct Debits
For families that already have a direct debit set up, it will continue over the holiday period. If you would like to make any changes to your existing direct debit, please contact the office. Please note we cannot make any changes to your Direct Debit without your permission.
RELIGION ADVENT PAGEANT Thank you to all those parents who came to the park and supported the Advent Pageant. The children enjoyed the morning and their behavior was fantastic. Thank you to the Combined Churches for hosting this event.
St Vincent De Paul Once again Stage 2 have done themselves proud with the amount of cakes we had to sell. Thank you to the great cooks for your donations. Next week is Stage 3 and they are going to sell Zooper Dooper’s. Each Zooper Dooper will cost you $1.00.
End of Year The end of the year is drawing close and we will have our End of School Year Mass on Tuesday 15th December at 9:30am. Student Absences
Schools in partnerships with parents, are responsible for promoting the regular attendance of students.
When students are away from school for any reason it is a parent/caregivers responsibility to explain the absences of their children within 7 days from the first day of any period of absence. If you are aware that your child will be away from school prior to the absence, advance notification is preferred.
From the beginning of 2015, family holidays are no longer considered under the Exemption from School Procedures. If the expected absence period is 10 days or longer you are required to complete an Application for Extended Leave - Travel form (A1). This form can be downloaded from our website or collected from the office. Once completed this form should be returned to the Principal. Once the Application has been accepted by the Principal, you will be issued with a Certificate for Extended Leave.
Applications for Exemption from Attendance at school (A2) forms must be completed in advance and now cover absences due to exceptional circumstances, employment in the entertainment industry and participation in elite arts/sporting events.
* * Medications at School * * If your child requires medication at school it must be kept in the office and administered by staff. This includes any type of medications such as paracetamol, hayfever medication, cough lollies and antibiotics. Asthma Medication & Epipens should be kept in school bags or with your child, however they must still be supervised by staff when being used. Please call into the office or download the ‘Consent to Dispense Medication’ form from our website. The consent form should accompany the medication when your child drops it into the office before school starts in the morning.
School Payment Envelopes are available from
the Office.
