DAY TWO SUNDAY, JUNE 4, 2017 ARRIVAL�Arrive at Ben Gurion International Airport.�Welcome by our representative and assistance with arrival

formalities.�Transfer to Tel Aviv, known as the “city that never sleeps,”

with its centers of culture, recreation and national history, great beaches and fine stores.

�Check into the hotel.�Opening and orientation to the program by the Rabbi and

tour educator.�Enjoy a Middle-Eastern-style dinner at Maganda, in Tel

Aviv's Yemenite Quarter, with a varied menu of traditional salads and grilled meats.

DAY THREE MONDAY, JUNE 5, 2017 TEL AVIV: THE FIRST HEBREW CITY�Breakfast at the hotel.�Start the day with a visit to the Old City of Jaffa; ascend from

the old port through the renovated alleyways to the Jaffa Overlook for an introduction to Tel Aviv at the place where it all began.

�Return to Tel Aviv and visit Independence Hall, where David Ben-Gurion proclaimed the State of Israel on May 14th, 1948.

�Stroll down Rothschild Boulevard to view examples of the intriguing Bauhaus-style architecture from the 1930s. The local proliferation of the style won Tel Aviv recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage site and the nickname of ‘the White City'; lunch on own.

�Foundations of a City and a State, Ahad Ha'Am to Bialik: Zionist ideology and the revival of the Hebrew language come alive as you walk down Bialik Street and through the Trumpeldor Cemetery.

�Follow the story of Israel's pre-state elite fighting force, the Palmach, while walking through a state of the art multimedia

experience that allows a glimpse into the lives of extraordinary people at Beit Hapalmach (pending confirmation).

�End the day with a stop at Rabin Square, a center of Tel Aviv's cultural and political life, named for Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin who was assassinated here. Take a quiet moment at the Rabin Memorial.

�Dinner on own at the renovated Old Port of Tel Aviv, with its wonderful restaurants, cafés and shops, right on the water's edge; OR at the Tachana, Jaffa's Old Railway Station, renovated and restored as a great pedestrian complex, with restaurants, shops and open spaces for people-watching.

DAY FOUR TUESDAY, JUNE 6, 2017 COMMUNITIES PAST AND PRESENT�Breakfast at the hotel.�Check out of the hotel.�Visit the Nachalat Binyamin pedestrian mall, with its bi-

weekly crafts fair and eateries; alongside is the colorful Carmel open-air market and across the way Sheinkin Street, with its hip cafés and funky chic shopping.

�Depart Tel Aviv and drive north along the Mediterranean coast to Caesarea, one of the Land of Israel's most important cities in the Roman Period.; visit the Herodian theater and the new excavations along the Mediterranean shore, concluding with a visit to the ruined 900-year-old Crusader town.

�Visit a Druze village in the Carmel Mountains for a window into the unique world of the Israeli Druze community, with home-hospitality lunch.

�Drive to the top of Mount Carmel to view the Baha'i Gardens and gold-domed Shrine of the Bab, one of the holiest sites of the Baha'i religion

�BBQ dinner in Kiryat Tivon with friends and family of Rabbi Beloosesky.

�Drive to the Upper Galilee and check into the kibbutz hotel.

footsteps of Israeli soldiers and their battles in the Six-Day War. Enjoy the beautiful natural scenery and gain an insight into the strategic complexity of the Golan.

�Lunch on own en route.�The panoramic views from Mt. Bental (overlooking the

abandoned Syrian town of Kuneitra) give sharp insights into Israel's security situation on the Golan Heights, and the enormous challenges it faced in the 1973 Yom Kippur War.

�Visit the Golan Heights and explore its natural beauty, from volcanic hills to deep gorges and tour the award-winning Golan Heights Winery, located in Katzrin, which launched its first wines in 1984 and has since become world renowned; wine tasting is included.

�Return to the hotel for dinner.

galleries and crafts shops�Continue to Nazareth and stop at Mt. Precipice for a grand

view of the Jezreel Valley (and its many Biblical stories) and of Jesus' own home town.

�Lunch on own en route.�Drive along the Trans-Israel Highway for a close-up view of

the ‘Security Barrier' along the seam zone between Israel and the Palestinian Territories.

�Upon entering Jerusalem, stop to recite the traditional “shehechiyanu” blessing.

central neighborhood hub for food, entertainment, culture, and enrichment.

exploration of the excavations at the City of David, the very core of ancient Jerusalem. View the Gihon Spring and wade through the 2,700-year-old water tunnel of King Hezekiah (optional dry exit).

�Explore the Jerusalem Archaeological Park, including the Davidson Center, Robinson's Arch and the Southern Wall steps where Jewish pilgrims entered the Temple Mount 2,000 years ago.

�Stop at the Kotel (Western Wall) and experience the special atmosphere of this holy site.

�Lunch on own in the Jewish Quarter followed by visits to archaeological treasures and other highlights, among them:�The Cardo, the main street of Jerusalem in the 6th century.�King Hezekiah's First Temple-period “Broad Wall”.�Hurva Square, the central square of the Jewish Quarter.

Masada's role as a symbol of Jewish defence and its current significance in modern Israel.
