Voting Privileges Full members vote to elect the association president and members to the APA Council of Representatives. Associate members may vote or hold office in APA after 5 consecutive years of membership in the association.

Graduate Students Graduate student affiliates are automatically enrolled in the American Psychological Association of Graduate Students (APAGS).
