Welcome to the Global Landscapes Forum, Bonn Conference Sustainable landscapes are essential for food security, health, livelihoods, business and trade opportunities, including renewable materials and energy. International agreements play a critical role for development, as well as for biodiversity conservation, climate mitigation and adaptation or water security. Working towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, the New York Declaration on Forests, the Aichi Targets, the Paris Agreement, or regional efforts like the African Agenda 2063, the Global Landscapes Forum in Bonn 2018 aims to “reignite the flame” to accelerate and mobilize collective action on the ground. Welcome to the Global Landscapes Forum, Bonn Conference

Sustainable landscapes are essential for food security, health, livelihoods, business and trade opportunities, including renewable materials and energy.

To that end, GLF 2018 will allow participants to share knowledge with policy makers and each other in the pursuit of new, green development pathways in landscapes.

The Landscape Academy is the go-to place for landscape learning. It provides access to a diverse range of online and offline courses related to landscape approaches. It offers certified open online courses designed for landscape professionals, to help

them advance their knowledge, skills and attitudes and successfully carry out their landscape work. It provides a platform for learners to get inspiration and practical guidance, and share their experience within a growing community of practice.

Landscape Heroes This year for GLF Bonn 2018, we are focusing on

how to move from commitments on paper to actions that bring a visible, positive change in the landscape and in people’s lives. And you can help us show global leaders in government and finance that action is happening at every level across the world, that solutions are out there and that scaling them up is not only critical, but possible.
