All of Manship Theatre’s school programs, serving Pre-K to Grade 12, engage students in
active learning, immerse them in culture, and transport them through history. School
performances align with Common Core and Louisiana State Content Standards for lan-
guage arts, social studies, and the visual and performing arts and are supported with
materials and resources to help connect the on-site visit to the classroom.

her old gowns and accessories, Nancy has enough money to buy a
brand-new sparkly tree topper. She can't wait to decorate the
Christmas tree. But when things don't turn out the way Nancy
planned, will Christmas still be splendiferous? Based on the New
York Times bestselling picture book by Jane O'Connor.

Theatreworks' production of Charlotte's Web is based on E.B.
White's loving story of the friendship between a pig named Wilbur
and a little gray spider named Charlotte. This treasured tale, featur-
ing mad-cap and endearing farm animals, explores bravery, selfless
love, and the true meaning of friendship.

Living Voices presentsThrough the Eyes of a Friend: The World of Anne Frank
Through The Eyes of a Friend is the story of Sarah Weis, the
daughter of an average German family forced to move to Holland
when the Nazis come to power. In Holland, Sarah becomes friends
with Anne Frank. The story follows Sarah as she hides for two
years in the basement of a clock store until she is discovered and
sent to the Westerbork prison camp. At Westerbork, Sarah is
reunited with Anne. After a few weeks, Sarah and the Franks are
put on a train to Auschwitz.

A hit on Broadway, A Year With Frog And Toad was nomi-
nated for 3 TONY Awards - including Best Musical. Based on
Arnold Lobel's beloved children’s books and featuring a
jazzy, upbeat score by Robert and Willie Reale that bubbles
with melody and wit, the show is an inventive, exuberant,
and enchanting experience for the whole family.

AQUILA THEATRE- Much Ado About NothingShakespeare’s great comedy, Much Ado About Nothing, high-
lights Aquila Theatre’s 25th anniversary season. Spying, subter-
fuge, deception, false identities, slander, manipulation, and love
all take part in this wonderfully entertaining battle of the sexes.

All school performances are chosen by consulting the Louisiana Arts Contents Standards and integrating the Academic Contents Standards. S.T.E.A.M. programming applications available.
The majority of productions have study guides available for educators to use in the class-room. The lessons and activities help prepare students for performance as well as connect the material to classroom curriculum. Go to www.manshiptheatre.org/education.asp to access the study guides.
Tickets for students and teachers range from $10-$12. One complimentary teacher ticket is offered for every 25 student tickets purchased. Chaperone/parent tickets are $15. Every school must have 1 adult for every 15 students attending.
