1. Before starting

The goal of this document is to give you step by step information on how to install Trace One on your computer.

You must have administrative rights on your PC to carry out these operations.

1.1. Configuring Internet Explorer

Your navigator must be correctly configured so that navigation in Trace One takes place correctly. This is why we recommend, before beginning installation, to configure Internet Explorer in the following way:

Then open Internet Options

In Internet Options

Select the Safety tab

Then Trusted sites

Click on the Sites button

Add the three Trace One addresses:

- https://www.traceone.net

- https://www.aeabonnes.traceone.net

- https://pack.traceone.net

Then Click on Close

Lower the cursor to the “Low” level

Then Click on Ok

So that Trace One application windows are not seen as advertising Pop-ups, please configure your navigator in the following way:

Still in Internet Options select the tab Confidentiality.

If in the part, Block contextual windows, if the blocker is activated, click on Settings.

Write www.traceone.net in the Web site Address to be allowed:

Then click on Add so that it will appear in the Approved sites

Click on Close

Then on Ok to close Internet options

You must shut down your navigator completely before these modifications will be taken into account.

Your navigator is now configured and you are now able to install the components required to use Trace One.

2. Installing Trace One components

To request your certificate and use Trace One correctly, you must install the components.

- Infomosaïc to be able to sign specifications in version 3. - Trace One components - Gemalto that reads the smart card required to connect to Trace One applications.

2.1. Installing InfoMosaïc

The Infomosaïc component is required to sign documents which are in version 3 of Trace One.

In the document opened, click on the link

In the downloads pop-up, click on Run twice

Click on Next

Fill in your name and the name of your company and make sure that the option Anyone who uses....has been ticked

then click on Next

Then click on Next

Allow the programme to install

Then click on Finish

2.2. Installing Trace One components

Still in this document, click on:

Click on Run twice in the downloads Pop-up window

Click on Close

2.3. Installing the card reader

To install the card reader drivers, you must have unplugged it first.

Start by checking the versions of your operating system, 32 or 64 bits if you have Windows 7 or Vista.

For the 32 bit versions, click on the link below:

In the downloads pop-up, click on Run

Click on Next

Choose “I accept the terms of this licensing agreement” then click on Next

Click on Install

Allow the programme to install

Then click on Finish

After having installed all the components, you must restart your computer.

3. Start and obtain your certificate

3.1. Initialisation of the card

Plug in the card reader and insert your smart card.

If the card is new, the first time it is

inserted, your will be asked to change your PIN code.

The Trace One initial PIN Code of all its cards is123456

For your safety, PIN codes must have between 6 and 8 characters and be alphanumeric (letters and numbers).

3.2. Using an old card

If the card has already been used, you must delete all certificates already present on it before requesting a new certificate.

Insert your card in the reader and open the card management programme.

To open the card management programme:

- Click on Start

- Then on All programmes

- Then on Gemalto

- Then on Classic Client

- Then on Classic Client Toolbox

Click on Certificates

Key in your PIN code then click on Connect

To clear the card click on Clear all

If you validate this action, you cannot turn back.

Click on Yes if you are sure to want to delete the former certificate(s).

3.3. Install the “trust path.”

For the certificate request to be correctly taken into account, you must install the “trust path.” This path allows all certificates in the certification chain to be correctly read.

In internet explorer, go to: https://www.traceone.net/installation/AC_RACINE.der

In the Pop-up that opened, click on Install the certificate.

Click on Next

Select “Place all certificates...“ then click on Browse to select the correct store

Tick “Display all physical stores“ then select Certification authorities trust root” then the store Register

Click on Next

Click on Finish

If a warning message appears click on Yes

Then click on Ok to totally finish the operation

Do the same manipulation again with the subscriber certificate using the address:

https://www.traceone.net/installation/AC_ABONNE.der

For this second stage, make sure you place the certificate in the store “Authority of Intermediary Certification” instead of “Authority of Root Certification.”

3.4. Request a certificate.

To request a certificate you must have returned by fax (01 56 90 24 25) or by email ([email protected]) your user sheet. In this sheet you will have given a password that will be required for the certificate request.

Open an internet page and go to: https://www.aeabonnes.traceone.net/aeabonnes

Click on “Continue with this Web site (not recommended)”

Fill in your User name as it appears in the account creation confirmation email as well as the Password that you used in the user sheet. Then Click on Ok

Select choice N°1 then click on Next

Click on Yes if a warning message appears

Check that all information given is correct

Then check that the cryptographic service provider is Gemalto Classic Card CSP

Then Click on Validate

If the cryptographic service provider is not Gemalto Classic Card CSP check that you have opened the following pagettps://www.aeabonnes.traceone.net/aeabonnes and check that the Gemalto component has been installed, and if required, contact Trace One support.

Key in the card PIN code and then Click on Ok

Your request is being processed, this could take several minutes.

When the message below appears, the certificate request has been correctly carried out.

You will receive an email from our Sales Administrator within 48 hours.

3.5. Obtaining a certificate

To obtain your certificate, connect once again to the following address https://www.aeabonnes.traceone.net/aeabonnes and key in your Login and Password.

The certificate must be obtained on the same computer as the certificate request.

Select choice N°2 then click on Next

The certificate request must appear in the window to be downloaded Click on Next

Click on Download the certificate.

This download can take time.

Key in the card PIN code of the Card

When the message below appears,

The Certificate has now been installed on your card. The Certificate is good for five (5) years.

We would like to remind you that the Certificate is nominative and engages your responsibility when signing electronic documents on Trace One. Should the name or the user change, please contact Sales Administration to change the user name.
