Getting StartedGetting Started

Sign In Options

If you would like to establish access to your company's account, please sign up. If you simply want to browse through the site, use the "Guest Access" link.

Enter your email address below. You will receive an email containing a link that will allow you to change your password.

Temporary access for browsing. Site set-up is not required. Use this only if you do not have an account with CompuCom.

Client Portal Toolbar

• Active tool bar stays with you as you navigate through screens.• Customer Specific Logo loaded to personalize the site.• You can navigate directly to desired screen from any other screen.• Toolbar display changes based on the security settings of an

account or user.– Ex. – Admin would only be available to users with administrative rights

Product Search Overview From the toolbar, click on Products

• Several different search options/tools are available.

Product Tab1. Browsing feature, Catalog

The catalog is indexed by category.• Select the category of interest.

• Each category will have a subcategory and allow you to “drill down” to find the desired product.

Once you have selected the lowest level of categorization, a list of the products contained in your customized catalog will be listed. Add to Cart allows you to select products for quote or purchase.

Click on the manufacturer part number for detailed specs, when available.

Detailed Specs are available for most parts. Industry Standard Spec Sheets are provided from CNET.

Product Tab - Search2. Product Search, Options

Catalog Search Option• Enter a MFG Part#, Keyword, or Manufacturer Name

• You can even us an asterisk (*) as a wildcard.

Filter Options are provided based on the results to further limit result set, as needed.

Product Tab – Cart3. Cart Summary/View Cart

Cart Summary is automatically updated as you add products into your cart.

Click on View Cart under Cart Summary From here you can Edit Quantities, Create Bundles, Save the contents

as a Quote or a Shopping List, or Purchase Product.

Product Tab - Cart4. Cart Express

If a user knows the exact CompuCom SKU, they can enter the SKU under Cart Express

• Once ADD TO CART is clicked, the SKU is added directly to the cart. Cart summary will appear and you can edit your quantities without going through a “search” process.

Product Tab – Saving Cart

Based on a users security access rights, users can:• Save Cart; as a shopping list or quote.

To Save a Shopping List, select Shopping List, then simply assign the list a name and click on Save.

To Save as a Quote, select the Quote Option and Click on Save.

Product Tab – Saving Quotes Once you select save as a “Quote,” the site will provide required fields

(denoted with a *) needed to complete the quote.

Field requirements are customized based on accounts established profile.

Once you save, a summary screen is provided with reference number.

If a carrier is selected shipping charges can be estimated. Taxes can also be estimated if a bill-to and ship-to are provided.

There are two ways to access products you have saved as a Bundle, Quote or Shopping List• Lists are provided by clicking the appropriate link under Saved Items.

• See a summary list (previous five) on the right under the sections of: Bundles, Quotes, and Shopping List.

Product Tab6. Maintenance

Inactive SKUs link allows an administrator to check bundles for inactive SKUs and replace with a new “standard” rather than accessing each bundle.• You can search a specific SKU or• Show all inactive SKUs contained in bundles.

Configurator Links allow users access to product research right from the Client Portal site• From the products page under Configurator Links click on the link you wish to

access.

Site Navigation8. Bookmarks

Allow for a “favorites” type listing specific to the clients site. Bookmarks are similar in function to the Configurator Links, but are available specifically for the clients site, rather than for global viewing.

• Bookmarks are a useful way to allow end users to link to client specific information, such as a posting on an Intranet site, without having to leave the client portal site.

• Bookmarks are accessed via the Resources page or from the Bookmarks link on the product main page.

Resources – Bulletins

Bulletins allow for an account to post information for end-users directly to the site. Bulletins are divided into two groups or levels (1 & 2). Access to each

level is set within a the security group. Therefore users may be granted access to view level 1 or 2 bulletins, both, or none.

Bulletins have post and expiration dates making managing the bulletins simpler for an administrator.

Bulletins can be text only, contain links, or contain attachments that may be downloaded or viewed.

Order Tracking & Invoice Look-Up Orders can be searched by Invoice Number, or Customers Purchase

Order Number. Additional Search Options are available under Advanced Search.

• Includes Date ranges for Invoice, Order Status or Invoice Type, and look-ups by Serial or Asset tag numbers.

Search results appear and allow you to view Invoices, Order Summary, or Order Tracking details.

Tracking information shows a Link to Carriers Site or

Invoice View at the box level.

Whenever available links to the carriers site are provided to track the waybill for a particular box.

Reports – Formatted Reports

Formatted reports are end-user reports in a selectable pre-format.

Once the users selects the report and report criteria it will be Emailed to them for review.

Formatted reports are generally available in 90 day intervals.

Reports – Data Exports

Data Exports can be “subscribed” to or run ad-hoc. Data Exports allow users access to data in a raw text file format, allowing

the data to be easily imported into virtually any application. Access to data exports are controlled (at the report level) by the acct.
