![Page 15: Connection Cryostats: status of bus bars studies Report to nMPP V.Parma, P.Borowiek, C.Maglioni](https://reader036.vdocument.in/reader036/viewer/2022062410/568164a6550346895dd698dd/html5/thumbnails/15.jpg)
Summary of mechanical calculation• With nominal spacing:
– M1, M2 (quad BB): elesticity marginal @ 5TeV; some plastic def. at ultimate; deflections well within tube diameter
– M3 (dip. BB): within elastic domain up to ultimate; deflections well within tube diameter
• Maximum acceptable supports spacing (tube contact) for quad BB (limiting as compared to dip. BB):– @ 5 TeV: up to ~1.55 m– @ nominal: up to ~1.33 m– @ ultimate: up to ~1.3 m
