What would you like the power to do?
At Bank of America we are here to serve, and listening to how people answer this question is how we learn what matters most to them, so we can help them achieve their goals. We had one of our best years ever in 2018: strong recognition for customer service in every category, the highest levels of customer satisfaction and record financial results that allow us to keep investing in how we serve you. That translates to a great team delivering the best capabilities for our clients and for our communities.
We are proud to serve North Carolina and help drive it forward by sharing our success, through the lending, investing, giving and volunteering that you need to remain vibrant and vital.

Apparo
Welcome to the 2019 ConnectivIT® Ball!
Our ConnectivIT theme this year is “fIT for the Gods”. In addition to being a play on words, with ‘IT’ snuck in, we chose this as a representation of our standards. It is our goal that the IT resources, education and connections we provide to our nonprofit partners – and the resulting impact – are of a caliber that would truly be fit for the gods.
And we’re not just patting ourselves on the back – this standard encompasses you. In being here tonight, you are a part of the life-changing work that is happening in the greater Charlotte area. Your support of Apparo’s work is enabling:
· More food in hungry stomachs
· More medicine healing the sick
· More high school graduations
· And so much more
Tonight is a celebration of this impact. We hope you enjoy yourself as you learn about the work you are enabling. Whether this is your first Apparo event or 50th, we hope you feel right at home tonight, and join us at an upcoming event soon.
Thank you for attending Apparo’s 13th annual ConnectivIT® Ball. Your continued support is improving lives throughout the community, and proving that technology and passion can change the world. Together, we can shape a community that is fIT for the Gods.
Gratefully,
Kevin LedfordCOO

Ada Jenkins CenterThe Ada Jenkins Center improves the quality of life for the residents of our communities through the integrated delivery of health, education and human services. They proposed to technologically advance and further standardize their goal planning process with families through a subscription to an online platform. Client-partners may access this platform from their own phone or computer to see a digitized version of their family goals, communicate goal progress, and share information with their CSS and other Ada Jenkins staff.
Junior Achievement of Central CarolinasJunior Achievement of Central Carolinas’ volunteer-delivered, kindergarten-12th grade programs foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and use experiential learning to inspire students in our community to dream big and reach their potential. Junior Achievement of Central Carolinas proposed a mobile app, designed to track Junior Achievement student data and allow for follow up and engagement of participants after programming.
Mental Health America of Central CarolinasMental Health America of Central Carolinas provides mental health education and advocacy, and suicide prevention in the Charlotte area. They proposed acquiring technical assistance to make modifications to their current customized Salesforce database or the creation/purchase of a new database to have a succinct way of capturing the data related to the information and referral calls that Mental Health America of Central Carolinas receives.
2019 Mission Possible: The Economic Opportunity Award
Sponsored By
2018 Mission Possible Award
As the recipient of Apparo’s 2018 Mission Possible Award, sponsored by Accenture, Charlotte Bilingual Preschool implemented the student management software system PowerSchool to help them efficiently manage all data related to students and families. This new, more efficient system is expected to give Charlotte Bilingual Preschool staff a combined 2,0000 extra hours back each year, allowing more focus on students and programming. It is also expected to provide more accurate and complete data, resulting in improved program quality that is better aligned with student and family needs.
