Russian Mil Helicopter NVG Upgrades

Consolite Technology has developed a strong capability in the upgrade of Russian Mil helicopters to NVG compatibility.

Cockpit and lighting modification kits can be supplied for Mi-8, Mi-17 and Mi-171 variants.

All modifications are compliant with MIL-STD-3009 requirements.

Cockpit modification kits include all parts required to make all light sources NVG compatible, including post lights, panel illuminators, indicator lights, utility and map reading lights and dome lights, as well as indicator captions and overhead illuminated legend plates using Cyrillic characters where required.

New NVG Compatible Overhead Legend Plates

Consolite has a fully equipped workshop facility where it can also modify individual instruments to NVG compatibility, and then test in its dark room facility to demonstrate compliance with MIL-STD-3009 or other standards if required.

New NVG Compatible Indicator Captions

The variety of different configurations in the Mi-8/17 family is so great that we would always recommend a cockpit survey before finalising an upgrade fit. Consolite, or one of its world-wide network of representatives, will be happy to visit your base to conduct such a survey.
