Constable Harold Devally & the Badge of Heart Foundation announces the 2019 Scholarship Program for graduating seniors in support of the Boys Scouts of America. Under the program, a minimum of one scholarship will be awarded to a senior attending a high school within Webb County Texas. Children of Webb County Employees or members of the Badge of Heart Foundation should contact the Badge of Heart Foundation directly for more information. Available Scholarships: Boy Scouts of America – Eagle Scout: (1) $500.00 scholarship available for any senior graduating who has achieved the level of Eagle Scout within the Boys Scouts of America Program Program Guidelines & Priorities: Seeking graduating seniors with a record of volunteerism in the community in non-school sponsored activities and participation in extracurricular school activities. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, and plan to attend a 2 or 4 year college or technical school. Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the college or technical school for the students first semester of the first year (June 2019 – September 2019). It will be the student’s responsibility to submit to the Foundation at that time an invoice for the registration of semester’s tuition and fees, student ID number and college or technical school information. Applicants must have the endorsement of their Boy Scouts of America Organization on their application attesting they are a qualified fit for this scholarship program. Badge of Heart Foundation strongly suggests that the Boy Scouts of America present this opportunity to the strongest applicants that match this program’s guidelines.
