The faculty members offer consulting services in functional and cross functional areas of business management. The major areas of

consultancy are enterprise resource planning (ERP) enabled business process re-engineering, e-Governance, IT strategy, accounting,

costing, auditing, financial management, human resource management, marketing management, operations management, productivity

management, strategic management, supply chain management, systems design, reputation studies and organizational communication,

competency assessment, counseling & feedback, leadership development and organization diagnostics, infrastructure projects, public

Institute has contributed to the productivity improvements and preparation of plans for

expansion, diversification and growth as well as for leadership development. A

MDI set-up – Training, Consulting & Research activities commence.

Development Banking Centre (DBC), started first sectoral project funded by Developmental Financial Institutions.

DBC project completed.

National Management Programme – a full-time, residential programme sponsored by Department of Personnel &

Training, Ministry of HRD, GOI launched.

Full-time Residential Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) launched.

Training activities move up to include policy level programmes; Advanced Management Programme (AMP) started.

Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) launched.

Post Graduate Programme in Management (Part-Time) launched.

Post-Graduate Programme in HRM (PGP-HR) launched.

Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM) launched.

MDI awarded the South Asian Quality Assurance System (SAQS) accreditation.

AMBA (Association of MBAs) UK accredited MDI's full-time Post Graduate Programmes. MDI became the first and only

B-School in India to be internationally accredited.

Post Graduate Programme in International Management launched in collaboration with European School of

Management (ESCP-Europe), France.

Post-Graduate Programme in Public Policy & Management launched.

MDI increased intake in Post Graduate Programmes in Management.

MoU for School of Public Policy and Governance signed again with Ministry of Personnel and Training, GOI.

MDI signs MoU with Aston Business School, Aston University, Birmingham, UK

MDI signs MoU with Schneider Electric India (SEI), Maruti Suzuki India Limited & Indian Oil Corporation Limited for

multiple activities.

Three of the Programmes of MDI: PGPM, NMP and PGPM (Part-Time) re-accredited by AMBA, UK

Three other Programmes: PGP-HRM, PGP-IM and PGP-Energy Management also received accreditation by AMBA,UK
