Copyright © Cross Media, LLC OVERVIEW Placing your contacts into groups and categories will improve your user experience when searching through your database to find contacts and include them in specific actions, like marketing or lead follow up. In addition to managing Marketing Concierge campaigns, adding Contacts to Specific Groups will populate your call lists in the “RAINMAKER” Greatness Tracker. In addition, adding all of your Realtors to the Realtor Partner category will add them to the Company Category dropdown list and allow you to search for all your realtors. All contacts must belong to one of the following Categories: • Realtor Partner • Business Contact • New Recruit • Personal Contact • Previous Borrower • Builder Groups offer additional search filtering and marketing options. Leads or Contacts can belong to as many Groups as you like, however, they can only belong to one Category. Example: You may want to create a Group for a specific Real Estate Company where you have several Realtors that you work with. Searching your “Realtor Partners” Category displays “ALL” of the realtors that have been added to that Category. From that list, you can select the Realtors you wish to include in your new Real Estate Company Group. This makes it simple to add this Group to a marketing campaign or a call list. IT IS IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN “CATEGORIES” AND “GROUPS”. ALL CONTACTS MUST BELONG TO A “CATEGORY”, HOWEVER, ADDING THEM TO A “GROUP” IS OPTIONAL.
