POP star Justin Timberlake paid tribute to Prince and took selfi es with fans during his Super Bowl half-time show.

The singer performed “I Would Die 4 U” during a hit-packed, 12-minute set in Minneapolis — Prince’s home town.

Timberlake also ran into the crowd to dance and pose for photos, in an unfailingly energetic appearance.

And he tacitly acknowledged his last Super Bowl perfor-mance in 2004, which ended with Janet Jackson’s infamous “wardrobe malfunction.”

On that occasion, he ripped a panel off Jackson’s bodice, revealing her right breast as he sang the lyric “gonna have you naked by the end of this song.”

When he reached that line Sunday night, Timberlake stopped the music and cut to

another song. The gesture is unlikely to have impressed Jackson’s fans — who still resent the fact that her career was derailed by the incident, while Timberlake emerged relatively unscathed.

Ahead of the show, the hashtag “Justice for Janet” trended on Twitter, in the hope Timberlake would invite her back — but Jackson shut down that speculation earlier Sunday.

Instead, Timberlake’s show (broadcast on a fi ve-second delay that was instigated after the 2004 Super Bowl) was largely controversy-free.

His most divisive move was probably the decision to wear a shirt featuring a photograph of two caribou, which looked less like a stage outfi t than your computer’s desktop wallpaper.

Still, Timberlake’s whip-crack choreography was so

impressive it took a couple of minutes for the true horror of his outfi t to truly sink in.

He started the show back-stage, performing his current single, “Filthy,” before dancing down an elevated walkway to

the center of the stadium.Zipping through 12 songs in

as many minutes, the 37-year-old showed off his enviable back catalogue — from the pop-funk of “SexyBack” to the robo-ballad “Cry Me a River,” into

which he dropped elements of “Led Zeppelin’s Kashmir.”

“Suit and Tie” was performed with a marching band, while Timberlake sat at a piano to play his Prince tribute.

POLICE in the U.S. state of Florida have arrested a man they say made threats to kidnap the singer Lana Del Rey.

The man was carrying a knife when he was arrested near the Amway Center in Orlando where the singer had been due to perform, offi cials said.

Police said Michael Hunt, 43, faces charges of aggravated stalking with a credible threat and attempted kidnapping with a weapon.

He was reported to have made “cryptic and threatening” posts on social media.

The incident happened Friday evening but was only made public Saturday.

Orlando Police Department (OPD) said offi cers received a tip-off earlier Friday and arrested Hunt at the intersec-tion of Hughey Avenue and Central Boulevard.

“When he was taken into custody, Hunt was in posses-sion of tickets to the Lana Del Rey performance and a knife,” a statement said.

It added that at no time had Hunt come into contact with the 32-year-old singer, whose real

name is Elizabeth Grant.“On Friday, OPD determined

this was a credible threat and worked swiftly to ensure the safety of everyone involved and of everyone who attended the show,” police added.

Hunt is being held in custody at Orange County Jail.

THE U.S. reality TV star Kylie Jenner confi rmed Sunday that she has given birth to a baby girl.

The 20-year-old was rumored to be expecting a child, but had remained quiet about her preg-nancy.

Jenner announced on Insta-gram on Sunday that she had given birth Feb. 1. She apolo-gized for keeping her followers and fans in the dark.

The new-born is Jenner and rapper Travis Scott’s fi rst child and they have not decided on a name yet.

Jenner had fi rst been rumored to be pregnant in

September, however no offi cial announcement was made.

Jenner, the youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner siblings, rose to prominence through the TV series “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” along with her sister Kendall and half-sisters Kourtney, Kim and Khloé Kardashian.

Jenner is a prominent per-sonality on social media and also has her own make-up brand.

She is the daughter of the Olympics decathlon winner Caitlyn Jenner and TV person-ality Kris Jenner.

US reality TV star Kylie Jenner gives birth to baby girl

“SEX and the City” actress Kim Cattrall has announced the death of her brother,

after earlier issu-ing a public appeal for informa-tion on his whereabouts.

Christopher Cattrall, 55, had been missing from his home in Alberta, Canada since Tuesday.

Kim Cattrall had appealed to her social media followers for help fi nding him.

His keys, cell phone and wallet were left on the table; the front door was unlocked; and his seven “beloved” dogs

were left unattended, she said.“This is not like Chris... Help

us bring him home safe,” she had asked fans.

Later Sunday, the Liverpool-born actress posted a message on Twitter saying: “It is with great sadness that myself and my family announce the unex-pected passing of our son and brother, Chris Cattrall.”

The message thanks those who offered support and asks for privacy.

No further details were given.

A spokesperson for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police said there was no reason to believe there was anything suspicious about the death.
