As the largest retailer of designer bathrooms in the UK, we have strong

relationships with our manufacturers. We offer more exclusive ranges from recognised

brands than anyone else, as part of a product portfolio that now exceeds 50,000.

At any one time, we carry around £4 million worth of products, housed in

our 36,000 sq ft Dartford facility. Stock products are normally delivered within

72 hours, with a QuickShip programme available for more urgent needs.

Staged deliveries are also available, so that the right components

of your new bathroom arrive at the right time. What’s more, we have our very

own fleet of lorries and vans. Our drivers know how to look after your

products and continually strive towards complete customer satisfaction.

The design-led Ampersand Hotel in South Kensington, London is one of an increasing number of boutique hotels which have made full use of C.P. Hart’s bathroom expertise.Our advisors can ensure new regulations for sustainability and accessibility are met without compromising style or function.

The bathroom experience can, of course, be one of the greatest pleasures of a great hotel, and anyone staying at the Ampersand will leave with new ideas for their home.

Stoke Park ClubBuckinghamshire.

The 5-star Stoke Park Hotel, Spa and Golf Club was Britain’s first country club in 1908. More recently it was pronounced one of Vanity Fair’s ‘must visit spas of the world’.

C.P. Hart selected products in keeping with the overall design vision, but also that were sufficiently robust for a hotel environment.

Creating new bathrooms as part of this major refurbishment enabled our designers to continue the fusion of heritage-rich elegance and contemporary luxury for which Stoke Park is now acclaimed.

Berglan CourtLimehouse, London.

A chic district of London. A penthouse suite. A contemporary refurbishment with new bathrooms. The perfect brief for C.P. Hart.

Selection of the set-pieces was important, but the skill and care with which finishes and lighting are designed can set the seal on a really special bathroom.

We used floor up-lighters to accentuate the curves of the free standing ios bath and created a bathroom with distinctly defined zones – a relaxation area and a spa-like bathing area.

Three-Hole Basin MixerSeparate tap valves feed water through a central spout. These mixers often incorporate a pop-up waste lever.

Monobloc Basin MixerOccupying a single taphole and available in both modern and traditional styles. Contemporary monobloc mixers are more often in the style of a single lever that controls both flow and temperature, whereas traditional monobloc mixers incorporate separate hot and cold hand-wheels.

Wall Mounted Basin MixersThese mixers (taps) are fixed to the wall with concealed pipework, leaving the basin and surrounds looking clean and spacious – perfect for a contemporary-style bathroom.

Bath FillersFillers mix the hot and cold water before it leaves the spout:

One-Piece FillerFitting two standard tapholes, this single contemporary unit features separate controls and a central spout. Adjustments can be made to enable mounting behind the rim, on floor legs or onto the wall.

Three-Piece FillerTwo tap valves and a spout can be mounted either on the side or end of the bath, or on the wall. This flexible configuration gives the option of mounting the pieces in unconventional positions, providing the projection of the spout is sufficient to go over the rim of the bath. In a contemporary setting the spout could even be replaced with an overflow filler.

The right choice of brassware can make a huge difference to the personality of a room, so it’s worth exploring all the options with your designer at the outset.

A guide to BRASSWARE

Bath/Shower MixersAvailable in contemporary and traditional styles, these offer a versatile bathroom solution, with a diverter switching water-flow from spout to showerhead as required. Traditionally the shower handset rests in a cradle above the taps. But more contemporary styles fit onto decorative, freestanding floor legs for use with freestanding baths or may be converted to mount on the wall. Many wall-mounted options are available.

Four-Piece Bath/Shower MixerConsisting of two tap valves, a spout with a diverter and a handshower, a four-piece mixer requires four separate tapholes. This means that the bath will have to be specially drilled to order.

Five-Piece Bath/Shower MixerOffering the same features and benefits as the four-piece mixer, this set requires an additional taphole as the diverter is a separate unit.

MechanismsThe contemporary tap uses a ceramic disc that rotates to control the flow of water, unlike the traditional tap which uses a rubber washer. On the outside, the main difference of the ceramic tap is that it only requires a quarter rotation to turn it on or off.

Pressure and Flow RatesThe pressure of your water supply may affect your choice of brassware. Pressure requirements for products are included in this brochure, but we recommend discussing with your C.P. Hart Sales Advisor or Designer before making a final decision.
