CONTEMPORARY EXTENSION WITH ALUMINIUM BESPOKE WINDOWS & BI-FOLDING DOORS WITH DESIGNER FRONT DOORS IN STAFFORD

An example of a contemporary extension with bi-folding doors, bespoke bonded glass windows throughout.

BACKGROUNDThe family having grown out of their semi detached in Stafford, wanted to extend their family home whilst also extending their living space.

THE PROJECTA single-storey extension was added to the side and the front of the property. Along the back aluminium bi-folding doors lead out to the newley landscaped patio area. The angle of the extension providing privacy for the family and to keep the doors open when the weather allows.

The homeowners choose aluminium windows and doors made from premium grade aluminium, with a powder coated finish and weather tight seals. Designed to deal with the changeable British climate.



















PRODUCTSBi-folding doors were chosen for the entire downstairs, allowing the family to fully open up the space to the outside, creating a seamless transition to their landscaped garden and patio area.

Available in a range of configurations and colours. The homeowners opted for a four-door set, in a 3+1 configuration, allowing for a master door. You can use this master door the same way you would a single door, giving you the ability to open the master without having to fully open the bi-fold. The door opens outward neatly stacking at either side, ensuring the family didn’t loose any internal space.

Designer doors were chosen for the homes front entrance with an extended height window above, helping light to fill the entrance hall creating an illusion of height and space and a seamless transition to the outside.

Interally in order to let the light in, We installed bespoke Roof Lights along the entire length of the back of the extension providing an aesthetically-pleasing and effective daylighting solution to the day room.
