  • Ralph Angel Born in Seattle Washington, 1951. Published author: Twice Removed (Sarabande Books, 2001) Neither World His poems have appeared in the New Yorker, Poetry, The Antioch Review, The American Poetry Review. He is the Edith R.   • Charles Bukowski Bukowski was a poet, novelist, and short story writer. Bukowski was influenced by the social, cultural, and economic ambience of the LA area. Charles Bukowski has published over sixty books. One of his most famous poems is A smile to remember. Next Slide Return to Main Menu

  • Laurie Lee 1914-1997 In many of Lees biographies, it says that he was born and raised in the city of Slad. But his family says that that move was made when he was about three years old. This move affected his writing, which can all be seen in his autobiography entitled Cider with Rosie. His autobiography ended up being his most famous work.   • EE Cummings Edward Estlin Cummings was born on October 14 th, 1894, in Cambridge Massachusetts. Cummings was a professor of Sociology and Political Science at Harvard University.
