Aspirating Air Sampling Technology Aspirating Smoke Detection (ASD) is a method of smoke detection where the air from the protected area is actively drawn through a network of sampling pipes, passed through a central detection unit and sampled for the presence of smoke.

Based on the forward light scatter principle, the unit directs a powerful semiconductor laser through an aperture in a specially designed reflector. Any combustion products present in the moving air sample scatter light on the reflector from where it is focused on a single photo receiver.‑

Auto Focus Fire Detection & Extinguishing (Water Based) System

Auto Focus Fire Detection and Extinguishing (Water Based) System is new generation of high-tech fire protection product by combine features of detection alarm & extinguishing.

This series of products use infrared, ultraviolet combined flame detection technology and mechanical technology to auto detect the fire and the source position.

Once fire detected within the protected area, it will auto activated, scan and focus the source of fire. System will immediately activate the water pump to extinguish the fire and trigger fire alarm once confirmed. It will automatically stop spraying water and repeat the process if needed.

FM 200 or HFC-227ea (Heptafluoropropane) is the leading clean agent replacement for Halon 1301 in the special hazards suppression industries worldwide. It is traded under various brands. However, the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 2001 Clean Agent, makes reference only to the generic name of the chemical, which is HFC-227ea. Our product provides the highest quality assurance of its HFC-227ea and is supported by a team of highly trained and qualified chemical engineers and scientists. Our product has achieved a minimum purity of 99.95% and less than 10 ppm of moisture. It has less than 1 ppm acidity of hydrofluoric acid (HF). The non-volatile residue is less than 0.05g/100mL.

Our products received its component recognition from Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and its component approval from Factory Mutual(FM). Both UL and FM are the independent third-party organizations that certify the purity specifications as required by NFPA2001 to be an effective fire suppression agent. FM Approvals conducts a fire test on Orient 227® based on the standards and requirements under FM5600. UL Listings is based on UL2166 Standard for Halocarbon Clean Agent Extinguishing System Units, edition revision date 03/22/2001. All testing was performed in accordance with NFPA 2001 (2008 Edition).


Novec 1230 or FK-5-1-12 (Dodecafluoro-2-methylpentan-3-one)is another widely used clean agent fire suppression. It is environmentally safe and best used in fire hazard areas containing A, B, & C classes of fire. It has been approved by US EPA and ISO for its safe characteristic and fire extinguishing effectiveness. Novec 1230 or FK-5-1-12 is an acceptable alternative clean agent for Halon 1301 replacement.

Ansul R-102 Kitchen Restaurant Fire Suppression System is designed to protect areas associated with ventilating equipment, including hoods, ducts, plenums, and filters. Overlapping Appliance Protection is one of the two design options available with the Ansul R-102 Kitchen Restaurant Fire Suppression System. The design is flexible and simple. Nozzles are placed in a straight-line arrangement, providing overlapping agent discharge patterns and creating a virtual fire-free zone.

Nozzles are installed in a straight line with a maximum nozzle spacing of 25.5 in. (647 mm) and a height of 40-45 in. (1016-1143 mm) above the cooking surface. The nozzles are not aimed individually at specific appliances but instead are aimed at the hazard zone centerlines. These overlapping discharge patterns create a continuous zone of protection in which all appliances within this area are protected.

Foam Principle :● Since water is heavier than most fuels, there are two options :

● Reduce the weight● Reduce the surface tension

● Water must be combined with an additive to produce an extinguishing agent which is lighter than the fuel

Film Principle :● Reduce surface tension allowing a heavier liquid to spread out over a lighter

liquid or over a solid surface● Increase rate of spread of foam over fuel surface leader to quicker extinguishing

Extinguishing Principle I :● When foam is initially applied to a fire, it is broken down, releasing water which

cool the chemical through evaporation or heat absorption● The heat absorbed cool the fire, thus reducing the vapor release

Extinguishing Principle II :● When the foam is no longer broken down by flames, it accumulates in a blanket

and spread over the chemical surface● This cover of foam prevent vapor from feeding the flame, thus reducing the fire

and cooling the chemical

Foam Sealing :● Sealing of the foam blanket over the fuel surface is CRITICAL● Vapor containment must be achieved to ensure proper extinguishment● A small edge fire will break down the protective foam coverage

Foam Fire suppression foam is comprised of three parts : foam concentrate, water, and air. When mixed correctly, these parts form a homogeneous foam blanket that extinguishes flames by the combined mechanisms of cooling, separating the flame source from the product surface, suppressing vapors, and smothering. This makes foam fire suppression systems an effective option for protecting flammable and combustible liquids.

One of oldest and common fire fighting solution, a well designed and a well laid out hydrant system form the backbone of the entire fire fighting system. It comprises of heavy duty above and underground piping with accessories.

Hydrant fire system is basically water distribution network backed by a number of components & accessories like fire pumps, piping system, water tank etc.

Passive fire protection or Compartmentalization in structures, such as land-based buildings, traffic tunnels, ships, aerospace vehicles, substation or submarines, is the fundamental basis and aim of passive fire protection.

The idea is to divide a structure into “fire compartments”, which may contain single or multiple rooms, for the purpose of limiting the spread of fire, smoke and flue gases, in order to enable the three goals of fire protection:

1. Life safety 2. Property protection 3. Continuity of operations

The construction of such compartments and all their components is a matter of systems within systems, which use bounding to achieve fire-resistance ratings, all interdependent, forming part of an overall fire safety plan. All components forming part of such a compartment are subject to stringent bounding in countries, where product certification is mandatory.
