family? King Cheops's real name in Khufu but he
was know to the Greeks as Cheops.
He ruled Egypt in the 4th dynasty (2551 BC- 2528 BC)
He was the second pharaoh of that period of time
Cheops ruled for around 23 years
Cheops was very wealthy

family? King Sneferu was king Khufu’s father
Queen Hetepheres I was his mother
Cheops had 9 sons and 15 daughters
He was married to queen Meritites and queen Henutsen

Khufu’s full name was Khnum and that means “the god Khnum protects me.”
Khnum was the local god of elephantine an island on the Nile.
