In this cource the purpose is changing of our theorical knowledge to practice.To see differences in school life from social life.The other purpose is interwiev to engineers and learn important things from them and to examine machines and real working area, to see life of engineers closerly because of we will do same things after

one year later. To speak and see engineers working friends who are technicians.The most imporant thing is thinking as an engineer so a person can obtain it if he or she moves with them. I was in Genç Milling machinary company ,I learned some important things which are not learned in university;

Firstly , I learned that engineer is not only a technical person he is a maneger at the same time, he is a accounter ,he is a worker ,I mean he has to know everything but there is a problem about our department in Gaziantep University we learn the technical information very good ,but we do not learn manegment there is not any lesson about manegement however our teachers sometimes mention about manegment in company ,it is not enough.Also we should know account but there is not any lesson about account,but I dont mean that we should know account as an accounter it seems ridiculous but we have to understand what they are say Secondly workers think about us,we are not sufficient when we start a new company just after first year.Why we give them this chance for thinking it about us ,is it really,are we not enough about thecnical knowledge? Are we exit the university with insufficient knowledge? Finally I think we will get jammed between the boss and workers and we will choose what will we be ,maneger or foreman

A great many factor should be considered if a plant is to be located

advantageously . Their relative importance will depend upon the particular situations.

Although the selection of a plant to location is a management responsibility, the

specific geographic location of a plant site will have a definite bearing on the factory

layout. The overall plot with access to public utilities, water , highways and the

market must be carefully considered in planning a new facility.For Genç Milling

engineer should understand what the good planning is, what the management is.

how to increase productivity.

ORGANIZATION OF MANAGEMENT OF A PLAN

F) PLANT LAYOUT

Plant layout is a plan, or the act of planning, an optimum arrangement of

industrial facilities, including personal, operating equipment, storage space, material

handling equipment, and all other supporting services with the design of the best

structure to contain these facilities.

The plant layout of this plant shows;

-only one type of product is produced, machines are arranged in the order of

operation

- the product is not standardized

- the product is manufactured in small quantities(1-8,max8)

- Always use same machine or work station for more than one operation

- maximum inspection required during sequence of operations.

According to these properties, type of layout of this plant is product layout and

so that it has some disadvantages;

- small through-put

- usually high skilled labour required

- higher total material handling cost

- higher total production time

- high work-to-progress

- high flor area per unit of production

- complicated production control

- The plant has a lot of the same machine on the each production line so that it is

susceptible to absenteeism, breakdown and dispute.

Finaly

- The plant layout has one advantage, it is inflexible to processing changes.

The availability adequacy and cost of transportation are important when considering the transportation factor for plant location problem. The factory is also located near source if weight is much reduced during processing.

Otherwise performance of the plant may depend on performance of supplies.

One should consider the perishability of the raw material when location the factory.

Where more than one raw material is required in quantity.

The aim is generally to select a location which minimising overall transportation cost.

Workers use safety material which are suitable for their special purposeas as grinding glass ,gloves,hamlet,work shoes,earflap,work clothes,and at definet time make training of safety for worker.Workers can directly come into contact with boss,but it is not easy , becouse worker should use very good this changes,some times worker may act or speak foolish.

CONCLUSION I learned some important things about administration in this summer practice (399).it is very different from me299 .In me299 I was feeling as a worker but in this me399 summer practice I feel and I learned an engineer is an adminester or head of a factory,It was good feeling ,but something was wrong this practice we can not learn sufficient knowledge .In my opinion ıf our depertmant prepare a study with factories of Gazi Antep City on connection of students and engineerings in aplication of daily engineering affairs,it may be more benefical for student ,and Antep City
