Since our inception, Lumidesign has been serving interior designers and architects equipping them with lighting solutions making them more successful. The company focuses on high quality, detailed design, short lead and intelligent customization setting it apart from the competition.

We realize that it’s hard to find a one stop shop that has design and manufacturing all in one place. Lumidesign is Canada’s only manufacturer and back-lit specialist with over 10 years of industry experience. All products are designed, manufactured and assembled in Canada.

Screen TechnologyCustom TV screen panels are specially constructed to bring the highest and brightest TV screen quality in the market.

LASER ETCHED TV

Etched mirror TV’s are ideal pieces for bathrooms where clarity and reflection quality are essential for the guest. Using a 99% reflective silver mirror, we are able to laser-etch a portion of the glass out in order for an image or TV screen to be seen through the mirror.

Doing so will allow 99% of the quality as well as brightness from the TV image to appear through the glass while preserving the natural reflective quality of mirror’s surface .

Etched TV SpecEtched mirror TV’s are not vanishing, when it is turned o� the black spot will remain in the mirror where the initial screen image was located.

Vanishing mirror TV’s are ideal for bathrooms that demand seamless TV images yet require a reflection quality that is comparable to a silver mirror. Lumidesign custom fabricates LED TV monitors that provide a true HD seamless experience in your bathroom. Lumidesign uses a 5mm si lver toned two way glass that is custom coated to al low images to seamless appear in/out of the mirror.

FRAMED VANISHING TV

The framed vanishing mirror TV provides the perfect way to hide a television in your living room. We use German quality two way mirrors to achieve this e�ect allowing 95 % transmission of your HDTV. Lumidesign o�ers the complete framed mirror TV as well as just the framed mirror itself. Frames for vanishing TVs can also be customized with our selection of standard mouldings or from our preferred partners for frame mouldings.

SandblastingEach piece is sandblasted using Germany machinery to create a smooth, shiny, and even surface.

FinishingEach piece is then careful ly p rote c te d i n a 2 m m s afet yw ra p to p reve nt s c ratc h e s from handling and installation.

Quality ControlEach piece is then carefully examined to inspect for possible pin-holes that can occur during the silvering or sandblasting process.

Not all mirror and glass are the same quality. At a quick glance, mirrors imported from Asia seem to be the same quality but upon inspection you will find defects and low quality finishes.

Lumidesign uses a 5mm, 6mm or 8mm mirror that is manufactured in North America. Upon close inspection you will find the edging and finishing of the glass to be perfect, no chips or knicks.
