Work Study: https://www.missouristate.edu/studentemp/205968.htm - federal work study

opportunities exist across campus.

The Federal Work Study Program provides jobs for undergraduate and graduate

students with financial need, allowing them to earn money to help pay education

expenses. The program encourages community service and work that is related to a

student’s course of study.

Many departments also offer student employment opportunities beyond federal work

study. Check with your department to see if they hire any student lab assistants.

Missouri State Scholarships

Website: http://www.missouristate.edu/financialaid/scholarships/ MSU scholarships are awarded each year to students who demonstrate qualities such as, but not limited to, outstanding academic achievement, leadership involvement and financial need. The funds come from multiple sources and do not have to be repaid.

To be considered for scholarships:

1. Be admitted to Missouri State. We encourage you to begin the admission process shortly after you complete your junior year of high school or two semesters prior to entering Missouri State, if you are a transfer student.

2. Fill out a FAFSA application to qualify for most scholarships (MSU FAFSA code:

002503).

Scholarships exist for incoming freshmen, transfers, currently enrolled students and graduate students. There are general university and department scholarships available.

Admitted students can create an electronic General Scholarships application through their My Missouri State account. See instructions for applying for MSU scholarships at http://www.missouristate.edu/FinancialAid/scholarships/GeneralScholarships.htm.

The office of Financial Aid also oversees scholarships. Visit this website for info on how to keep your financial aid and scholarships: http://www.missouristate.edu/FinancialAid/KeepingMyFinancialAid.htm.
