Contents Page Layout
How closely I followed my flat plan:
I began the production of my contents page by mapping out a guide of the
whole page. I did this according to my flat plan. I simply made boxes where I
needed to put a block of text or an image. I also began to put some text
in the most relevant places for example, the ‘inside your mag’ and of
course the actual title of the page ‘contents.’

Here you can see I had begun to add my images and edit
them. To do this I used a tool called ‘levels’ which allows
you to change the brightness, the darkness and also the contrast to balance it out (Ctrl+L). This was helpful because it allowed me to
enhance the bubbles so that they were more visible.
After changing the levels I decided to add a pink filter. I did this by right clicking the layer to change the layer style and add a colour overlay. After choosing the right
colour I reduced the opacity so it becomes a filter and doesn’t cover the actual image.
