This is a poster for Nike. This poster portrays how without no pain there is no gain, this is talking about sport and how when doing sports you could injure yourself but then if you don’t where are the gains, I would consider this as the denotation. On the other hand the connotation of this in my perspective is that it talks about more than just sports, it talks about more than sports things such as your life as a whole and how in everything there will be pain but that is where the gains will come in. This also could be taking about life goals, but everyone has different life goals. This also comes into being capitalistic and for most people the goal is to be rich and have lots of money, this goes into capitalism and how people are bought into this idea that the goal of life is to make money and be rich.

This poster is for a shower gel ‘ Lynx ‘ based around for women. This advert leads into heterosexual relationships as it is targeted at men. Because lynx is a men's shower gel/body spray. The women is also seen as an object for men, this is portrayed with the way she is holding herself almost trying to tease the men. This advert is also done s there is attention again drawn to the girl then they would be more encouraged to view the whole advert. Again this is done catch the attention of men. Also the text may seem provocative as its talking about connotation of the text which is ‘the cleaner you get the dirtier you are’.

This poster is for KFC (fast food). The layout of the poster shows how they are trying to portray their chicken to be superior than others as this focuses on the chicken. This links to the camera shot taken of this burger which is from ae showing how we are in an sense smaller tan the burger. The word epic is made as big as the burger this links the burger and the word together. The emphasis is shown that there are 2 chicken steaks instead of one, this is again shown through the camera angle. The corner right displays other options to add with the burger but they are made smaller as the focus is on tis new burger.
