What will the E-SPLOST save local property taxpayers?

• 1 BOE mill in 2011 = $674,096• $20 million (over 5 years) divided by

$674,096 per year = 5.93 mills• 15.00 current millage + 5.93 mills = 20.93• A 39.53% increase in property taxes

would be needed to raise 20.93 mills (max is 20 mills)

• And/or a bond referendum would be needed
