Current AEPCOMM: Non-intuitive codes Example: • Finfish from NZ – Code ‘D’ = Release • Milled rice – Code ‘D’ = Inspection

14 Session 17-18/01

Phase 2 AEPCOMM: Intuitive ‘codes’ and outcome based • Release • Inspection • Fumigation • Volunteer

Page 15: Continued Biosecurity Competency (CBC) Session 17-18/01. cbc sessi… · Session 17-18/01 6 Continued Biosecurity Competency (CBC) 1 April 2017 – 31 March 2018 CBC Session Reference

Phase 2: Combined NCCC and AEPCOMM codes • Current model: brokers need to determine the NCCC and

AEPCOMM codes and combine them. For example: • RNPNT + D = RNPNTD • New model: brokers enter NCCC Concern Type, then enters

appropriate outcome (for example ‘Release’).

• System will combine = direction issued
