About the SpeakerDaniel D. Skaar, D.D.S., M.S., M.B.A., B.S. (Pharmacy), Associate Professor and Director, Division of Periodontology; Interim Chair, Department of Developmental and Surgical Sciences, University of Minnesota School of Dentistry; Diplomate, American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Skaar’s primary research interests focus on clinical medical and pharmacology issues affecting oral health care for older adults and has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals related to his research efforts. He has also directed and presented numerous continuing education programs on a variety of pharmacology topics.
