The amazing Los Suenos Marriott Ocean & Golf Resort is the site of the 2020 CAWV Midyear Meeting January 24-29, 2020. Your Program Committee will be putting together an abundant mix of business, sporting and social activities to truly make the 2020 meeting one you do not want to miss.

Please note that the room rate is ALL-INCLUSIVE, meaning all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), premium beverages, internet, mini bar, and Tortuga kids club are included. The inclusive pricing also includes a 20% discount on all spa services.

Enclosed for your review are a registration form, tentative agenda, information about the meeting, passport information and how to reserve rooms at the Los Suenos Marriott Ocean & Golf Resort.

ACTION NEEDED: Fill out the enclosed reservation form and return it to the CAWV. Registration is $750 (couple) $400 (single) must be received before July 1, 2019. Additional pricing and registration information can be found on the registration form and meeting information sheet. The link to reserve your room(s) can also be found on the registration form.

Meeting registration fees include meeting costs, reception fees, general business sessions, and the Sunday Prayer Breakfast.

MEETING CANCELLATIONS: Refunds will be granted no later than Monday, Dec. 2, 2019.

Passport RequirementsPassports are required for this event. Many changes have been developed in passport requirements over the last year. It takes four to six weeks for the U. S. State Department to issue a passport. Members needing a passport should start the process immediately. CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 16 DO NEED A PASSPORT. New rules have been instated concerning birth certificates and legal forms of identification. Passport information can be obtained at www.travel.state.gov.

TransportationShuttle service will be available for purchase from Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose to Los Suenos Marriott. Trip is approximately a one and a half hour scenic drive. Rental cars are available at the airport for those wishing to drive. There is a car rental agency at the hotel but advance registration is recommended. Shuttle and rental car information will be sent at a later date.
