Photographs of Ichmul de Morley Panels 1 and 2 were taken by Bruce Love in 2016 and 2019, respectively. On June 29, 2016, Panel 1 was still in the entryway at Hotel Merida on the corner of Calles 60 and 57 (Figure 1). Love photographed it in the evening when it was dark enough to use artificial lighting. In July the piece was moved by INAH to Palacio Cantón (Smith 2019:4).

Ichmul de Morley, Panel 2
The piece was not measured at the time it was photographed (April 22, 2019), but according to Sylvanus Morley’s field notes (Smith 2019:Figure 8), the panel is 2’ 2” high (60 cm), 3’ 4” wide (102 cm), and 8” thick (20 cm).
