Control-M/CM for SAP

Control-M for SAP is now SAP XBP 3.0 certified.

It will be possible to create an SAP job with a temporary variant. Requires XBP 3.0.

It will be possible to define Event History and Job Interception profiles using Control-M for SAP. Requires XBP 3.0.

Control-M for SAP can now be installed on Linux 64bit.

Control-M for SAP now supports - Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard Edition - Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter Edition.

Variants with parameter values up to 132 characters are now supported. Requires both XBP 3.0 and SAP Note 1144882.

The "Show" button was added to the R/3 step definition so it is possible to view the current values of a variant as set in the SAP system.


Control-M/CM for SAP

The SAP execution server name is now available in the R/3 job's output.

sapcmbe.sh/cmd status command now displays the status of the Extractor process.

It is now possible to view a job's spool from the command line using the ctmr3req utility. Requires XBP 3.0.

It is now possible to get a list of Events defined in SAP in the Event Watcher Management utility. Requires both XBP 3.0 and SAP Note 1240741.

It is now possible to create a variant from the selection screen using the ctmr3req utility. Requires XBP 3.0.

Control-M for SAP now sends an alert to Control-M/EM Alerts window in case the Extractor process has terminated unexpectedly.
