The setting depends on which type of comedy the film is. Generic places: Towns, Village, cities, well populated areas Social Comedy: Houses, Pubs/Bars, City centre Teen comedy: Schools/Colleges/University and small towns/villages

The camera is very natural and goes along with the characters. High shots are used to capture the whole environment.

Medium shots are used to catch all of the characters expressions

Sounds are edited to add humour

Bright colours such as blue and yellow are often used Lighting is usually bright and shot during day time Props include things that have a high chance of comedic

use e.g. footballs, golf clubs etc

For setting we will film the beginning in a boys bedroom and then move to a school.

When filming we will use a range of close-ups to capture characters expressions

We will use props for comedic value such as a razor cutting our character whilst shaving

Our character will be smart but socially awkward We will be doing an anarchic comedy with

influences of films such as napoleon dynamite and american pie
