The audience will always see the institutions logo

During the opening sequence of the film, This is a

Convention in every film as we see this in every film.

We know that this is a American production company

As we have learnt throughout media that the company

Columbia is based in America. As well as this we also see

That the logo looks very similar to the statue of liberty as

it is a female who shares the

Shame stance. Also the female has a bright light behind it

which is meant to represent hope

Which is what the statue of liberty is meant to represent.

A large hand full of films start with the production company being shown at

the start of the film.

After the production company we then see the logo of Marvel which are the company behind “Spider-Man". This gives the audience something that they can relate to as a large number of the audience would have watched the “Spider-Man” cartoons or even read the “Spider-Man” comics.

As well as reading the comics they would have most likely had a “Spider-Man” action figure at a young age.

This insures that the audience stay seated as they start to recall childhood memories.

We then see the title of the film appear shorty which reads “Spider-Man". This comes roughly 30-40 seconds in so that the audience can be informed if they are in the right film and if they are not they can move without causing to much disruption.

We also see that the title “Spider-Man” is not written in a normal font but instead we see what appear to be spider webs spelling out the title, this tells the audience that the film has something to do with spiders.

This clashes with out film titles which are often very plane and do not give away to much about the film that is being screened. The title also sets out the type of genre of the film and due to the way that the title has been spelt out we can expect to see a lot of graphics and effects in the film.

We are then shown another set of companies/people who where involved in the production of the film. The fact that they are listed to make the 4th appearance in the film shows us that they where very important in the making of the film. This means that without these two people/ compaines the film may have not been produced at all.

We then see the name of the first actor which is “Tobey Maguire”. This lets the audience know that he is the main actor meaning that he himself might be playing the role of Spiderman and if he isn't then he may be the most highest paid actor in the film making him the star attraction to the film to get the audience in and pay to watch the film. He would be the main actor as he would be the most experienced actor in the film and the one that the audience would be the most familiar to.

We are then shortly after the main actors name presented with the secondary actor in the film who in this case is, “Willem Dafoe". We know that he is not the main actor as he would have been presented to the audience first, however we know that he holds a very important part in the film as his name comes second in the line up.

We as a audience can expect to the see “Willem Dafoe” early In the film as he has been listed second.

We are then introduced to the casting team behind the film who are “Francine Mailser” and “Lynn Kressel”. These two people would have been in charge of finding the best actors to play each character in the film from Peter Parker to The Goblin. It is their job to get a actor that would portray the character the right way that the director and the writer would have wanted each character to be portrayed.

We then see the costume designer who was “James Acheson”. His job would to be in charge of how every character looks E.G spidermans costume to how Peter Parker looks. This may have been as easy as going to the shop and buying cloths to even sitting down drawing and then making costumes just to fit the character the way that the writer has written them. Their job is to change words into pictures

Lastly we see the person behind the music of the film who is “Danny Elfman”. His job is to make the theme song to the film and to make music that sets a certain mood in the film, E.gmusic with keeps the audience on their toes when there is a fighting scene to music that gets the audience thinking when two or more characters are talking to each other.
