IMPACT ASSESSMENT… FEW REFERENCES

Reduction in Distress Migration-20-92% (GIZ-P-26), 48% (As per AKRSP-P-20), 36-75% (IIF) 34% (IIM)

Increase in the Average No. of days of water availability 190-365 days. Higher as compare to Andhra Pradesh, Karnatka & Rajastathan (GIZ-P-12).

A significant improvement in cropping pattern (as per MPISSR 2010, MoRD 2012 report) GIZ report P-12 (39%-IIM), 16 Villages of study area MCM.

AS OTHERS EVALUATED US..

Increase in irrigated area using surface water bodies like stop dam, pond and renovation of existing ponds–34.9-100 % and increase in the no. of days in water availability 108-240 days (GIZ-P-13).

Also Increase in irrigated area through construction of wells and increase in pumping time of water by– 62.5 % – 100% (GIZ-P-14, 15) from 48877 Ha. (2008-09) to 184934 Ha. upto June 2013 - (MP Agriculture economic survey report 2013-P-67)

Significant increase in Agriculture productivity (78% - IIM)

IMPACT ASSESSMENT… FEW REFERENCES

Improvement in drinking water availability through open wells(GIZ-P-15) –

i. distance travel has decrease by 44.2% - 63.2%.

ii. Time required for water collection has decrease by an average 20%.

Major quantum of works implemented by G.P.s (IIM). More than 70% assets created are excellent/ good quality (IIFM).

80% of the funds utilized by the GP’s. 50% of the total expenditure utilize for livelihood activity.

74% durable assets created in MGNREGA which is higher than National Avg. (NREGA soft).

30% Increase in student’s enrolment (IIM) 4-44% (IIFM). Improvement in standard of living, Food consumption,

quality & status of livestock (IIFM). Fair-weather roads provided critical link with market,

schools & health sectors (IIM).
