Manufactured in the UK using some of the mostadvanced technology in the industry coupledwith traditional craftsman techniques, theengineering and build of the entire Q90 rangehas been developed to respond to the everydaydemands of the large commercial kitchen.

Every aspect of construction has been considered, from the superior grade of stainlesssteel to the method of moulding door panels:

All units are 900mm deep for maximum capacityand output. Control panels are easy to use androbust. Oven door seals are moulded directlyinto the door to avoid deteriorating rubber sealsand thereby improve hygiene. Each item hasbeen ergonomically designed to fit together easily to form bespoke suites.

Every kitchen has its own identity and manykitchens are now taking centre stage, becomingmore ‘Front of House’. This change, along witharchitects becoming increasingly influentialwhen it comes to kitchen planning andspecification, requires a new approach tocatering equipment design.

Collaboration with the international designerLuciano Valboni has resulted in a cateringequipment collection that is individual in formand stylish in looks. Creative expression nolonger needs to be confined to the menu.

A new milestone in design

Hydro-formed doors

Taking its cue from the sports car industry,the Q90 range features hydroformedhigh-grade stainless steel doors.

Hydroforming employs high pressurehydraulic fluid to mould stunning curvedshapes that standard pressing cannotachieve. This process produces beautifullysmooth, flawless, doors that are free fromweld marks and other imperfections. Theresulting ergonomical design is not onlystylish but also easy to clean and hygienic.

Optional radiused corners

Radiused corners for cupboard and baseunits are available throughout the Q90range. This option not only adds style tocatering suites, but is also easy to cleanand hygienic.

Induction cooking

Induction hobs use electromagnetic fields togenerate heat in the pan, instead of the hobsurface. This makes the cooking process moreefficient because very little energy is wasted.The pan detection system cuts power to thehob when a pan is removed, further reducingenergy consumption.

Induction cooking also delivers rapid heat-upand almost twice the cooking power of similarlyrated gas hobs.

With no naked flame or radiant rings, inductionhob surfaces remain cool and so help tomaintain a safe working environment.

Whilst style is important, performance is crucial.All Q90 products have been developed withoperational efficiency as a key designconsideration. This does not mean, however,a compromise has been made when it comes tocooking power.

Large-scale commercial kitchens need cateringequipment that can deliver significant output,quickly and without compromise. Q90 units areall 900mm deep for maximum capacity withpower outputs that easily match the needs of thelargest and busiest kitchens.

Q90 boiling tops and gas ranges feature flexibleburner options that can be configured to suitspecific catering applications. Available in gas,electric, induction and vitro-ceramic versions, theQ90 ranges deliver the power expected in highoutput kitchens, with gas burners capable ofdelivering up to 10kW of power.

In all commercial kitchens, powerconsumption drives up costs. Q90’sresponse is to develop catering equipmentthat minimises energy use whereverpossible.

Our induction and vitro-ceramic ranges areextremely energy efficient. Heating controlson all products are highly responsive enabling users to accurately controlcooking temperatures.

The cooking surfaces of griddles and brattpans are constructed from a specialcompound material. This combines thehygienic and easy to clean properties ofstainless steel with a mild steel substrate toensure fast heat up and consistenttemperatures. Infra red elements, mountedunderneath the cooking zone in electricmodels, offer exceptional energy efficiency.These sophisticated design features,together with highly effective insulation,deliver reduced energy consumption withno compromise on performance.Powerful solid top

The gas solid top delivers a full 10kW of powerfrom a 42mm thick cast iron hob. With anoptional 8kW gas oven, this is a realworkhorse capable of handling the mostrigorous and uncompromising of kitchenenvironments.

Energy saving technology

When it comes to keeping things clean andsimple, Q90 has every angle covered. Theapplication of food grade stainless steelhydroformed doors throughout the range, aswell as the use of radiused edges on worktopsand in base units and cupboards, limits difficultto clean recesses.

All hobs have been designed with ease ofcleaning in mind. Gas ranges are manufacturedusing 80mm deep drawn single pressing toguarantee perfect gas combustion, reducinghob temperature and minimising spillage burn.

Solid top electric hobs are manufactured fromchrome-plated steel. Vitro-ceramic andinduction hobs utilise sealed and toughenedhigh impact resistant ceramic glass, all of whichare simple to clean.

All units are easy to disconnect and move, socan be maintained with little effort. Access toeach product is through the front of the unit.This means that installation is quicker andservice times are shorter. This not only reducesdowntime but also cost.

Over 70 products, available with different specifications, canbe configured to produce a diverse variety of kitchen suites tomeet specific catering requirements. Since all units can besimply disconnected and moved, they can easily beinterchanged to accommodate restaurant, or even menu,changes.

A range of accessories is available to complete Q90kitchen suites. Kick strips, connection strips and coverpanels give a streamlined look whilst eliminating dirttraps between and around units. Designed with theoperator in mind, options including pot shelves andhigh level taps make the kitchen working environmentmore efficient and comfortable.

Versatility is assured with Q90. Gas ranges are available with achoice of hob burner configurations, and our electric hobs featureradiant plates, solid tops, vitro-ceramic or induction zones. Electricdeep fat fryers offer the option of pumped oil filtration,programmable control and automatic basket lift.
