Place the LGA775RM onto the LGA775 motherboard so thatside A is parallel with ARM and side B is parallel with CAM.

From the underside of the motherboard, use screws (4) and

plastic washers (4) together to secure the LGA775RM into

place..

paste on the surface of the CPU.

Gently push down on the cooler unit to lock it into position.

(Figure3-1).Connect the 3-pin connector to the CPU fan

connector on the motherboard.(Figure 3-2).Installation is now

complete.

If fan speed control is required, please refer to "Installation of the

Fan Speed Control Cable".Note: About P4 Clips installation, please refer to Installation

Instructions for Intel Pentium4 mPGA478 Clips

To install GH-PDU22-SC on LGA775motherboard needs both LGA775 RM & P4

clips.

Part A: Secured to the retention mechanism hook.Part B: Tightly contact the cooler bracket.

Part C: Secured to the retention mechanism hook.

Connect the 3-pin connector to the CPU fan connector on the

motherboard. Clips Installation is now complete.

If fan speed control is required, please refer to "Installation of

the Fan Speed Control Cable".

Please add an adequate layer of heat sink paste on the surface

of the CPU(Figure1-1). Figure 1-2 showing the correctinstallation of the cooler atop the CPU.

Secure Parts A, B, and then C of the clip to the retentionmechanism. Assure that Part C is secured to the retention

mechanism hook on the same side as the heat pipes.

Align the three insert spaces of the clip with the three juts onthe CPU socket and then push firmly downwards to hold the

clip in space.

If AM2, only need to hook up the middle of protuberant point.

Push the lever on the side of the cooler towards the lever

position on the base of the CPU to secure the cooler atop the

CPU. Connect the 3-pin connector to the CPU fan connectoron the motherboard. Clip Installation is now complete.

If fan speed control is required, please refer to "Installation of

the Fan Speed Control Cable".

Installation of the Fan Speed Control Cable

Figure 1

Connect the 3-pin cooler power connector to the white

connector of the fan speed control cable.

The figure on the left shows the completed connection.

Figure 3

Connect the other side of the cable to the CPU fan connector

located on the motherboard. The original fan speed of 2,450

rpm will then drop down to 2,000 rpm.
