Hydraulic rock drills

A 25 kW hydraulic rock drill for fast underground long-hole drillingin the hole range 76115 mm. High penetration rate and excellentdrill steel life.

Features and benefits

Impact piston design matches the size of the drill steel. This feature gives minimum drillsteel stress.COP 2550UX has a separate ushing head mounted entirely in front of the rest of the rockdrill. A careless gasket change therefore has no more serious consequences than a drenchingfor the operator.Separate lubrication of the shank adapter and front bushing ensures adequate lubrication/cooling during heavy use and prevents contaminants from penetrating the drill at the front.

Pressurized mating surfaces with lubricating air prevent the ingress of dirt and damp intothe drill.Powerful, stepless variable and reversible rotation motor gives high torque for efcientdrilling, and minimize the risk of jamming.The gear housing has been provided with continuous hydraulic-oil cooling, a renementthat efciently holds down the working temperature. This means the gear does not have tobe manually greased.Flushing pressures up to 20 bar ensures efcient removal of cuttings and better bit life.
