Seamed And Seamless Level Wound Coil Copper TubeGeneral DescriptionThe (LWC) flexible level wound coil copper tube is used mainly for refrigeration and air conditioning by original equipment manufacturers.

General SpecificationsAll the seamed (welded) and seamless LWC tubing is tested 100 percent with the (Ecdy Current Test) and is annealed in controlled atmosphere furnaces to prevent oxidation.

The seamed (welded) LWC is produced with the most modern induction soldering technology and is made with smooth and grooved interior surfaces, in exterior diameters of 5/16” and 3/8”.

The seamed (welded) LWC with smooth interior surface is made in wall thicknesses of 0.012” to 0.020”. These wall thicknesses are thinner than those offered in the seamless LWC.

The seamed (welded) LWC with grooved interior surface increases turbulence of refrigerant gas and produces a more efficient heat transfer.It is generally made according to the customer’s design.

The level wound coil tubing is made under the following standards:Seamless, standard ASTM B743.Seamed, standard ASTM B640.All seamed tubing is made according to standards ASTM-B543 and B640.Certified: NOM-ANCE.

General SpecificationsEssential in evaporation systems and containers in the sugar industry; it has annealed ends that facilitate the expansion of the edges, thus allowing for easy installation in equipment. This tubing is made under standard ASMT B75. The diameters from 1” to 1 5/8” are only made in BWG 18, 16, and 14 wall thicknesses. General SpecificationsThe tempering of the Half Hard tube allows for easy manipulation, unlike the rigid tube, it doesn´t require a bench bender and can be used in a manual bender. Besides, it doesn´t need heating. It has the same durability and quality features as rigid copper tube, and has the compliance certificate to the European Standard EN1057 and AFNOR NF certification.
