We’ve all heard the saying…

Supplier Profile

“Communication is the key to a successful relationship.”

It is true. And business relationships are no exception. Polaris recognizes this truth and has invested extensive resources into developing and maintaining the Polaris Supplier Information System: a dedicated website to enhance the communication and exchange of data between Polaris Purchasing and you, the Supplier.

As a global company, Polaris operates from around the world and needs accurate data to be just a click away.

Supplier Profile

The Polaris Supplier Information System hosts several systems and communication tools, one of which is an online “Supplier Profile” of your company. This information is entered and maintained by each supplier and then the data can be easily accessed online by Polaris’ Purchasing department, providing invaluable data as efficiently as possible.

This Training Guide will introduce you to the Supplier Profile…

Goals and Expectations

We are strategic business partners and sharing information is critical to our success. As business partners, we both need to do our part to fully utilize the system resources we have available to us. Polaris has invested the resources to provide the Supplier Profile online, but to realize the benefit from this, it is critical for your company to enter your company’s information and keep it up to date.

When should you maintain your supplier profile? Polaris encourages suppliers to review and update their information annually (at year-end) – or – anytime there is a major change
