In 1968 the Grimm brothers, Bob and Rod, set up their first roadside produce stand. Now, more than

four decades later, Grimmway is one of the largest produce farming operations in the world, employing

over 5,000 employees. Starting with a quarter acre of lettuce back in 1983, they have taken the

organics division to include 60 different year-round vegetable commodities. Today the business is the

largest organic grower in the US.
