II. License

As the regulation of ThemeForest license, you are allowed to use this theme’s

license due to create only one single End Product for yourself or a client. End

Product is the final website that is customized according to your content. In

short:

What is allowed with single regular license?

1. You can create one website for yourself or for your client; also you can

transfer that single website to your client without any fee. This license is

then transferred to your client.

2. Each license of the theme is used for one complete-website. Thus, if you

want to have the same website for another client, you have to purchase

another regular license.

3. You can install the theme on your test server for testing/development

purposes. For this case, the installation shouldn’t be available for the

public.

4. You can modify or manipulate the theme; or combine it with other works

to create the End Product.

5. An updates for that End Product (website) are free.

What is not allowed?

1. With a single regular license it is not allowed to create multiple websites.

When you want to install the theme for multiple websites, you need to

purchase multiple regular licenses.

2. Multi-store Magento installations are not allowed with single regular

license.


To be specific, each regular license entitles you to use the theme for only a

store (store/domain/subdomain). For multiple websites you need to

purchase multiple regular licenses.

III.Installation

1. Prepare for Installation To ensure that the installation can properly process, you should take these

following preparation steps carefully.

- We strongly recommend you to duplicate your live store on a

development store and try your installation on it in advance.

- Backup magento files and the store database.

- Disable compilation mode in System > Tools > Compilation.

- Enable all caches in your magento, after the installationyou should

disable or clear the caches

- Log out from magento admin panel and log in again to refresh your

control panel.

2. Installation of Theme Package

Use for websites with existing-database (meaning a live website).

Step 1: Unzip file Printshop_theme_ver3.0.zip, and copy all folders of the

theme package to root folder or upload Printshop_theme_ver3.0.zip to root

folder on your server and unzip it.

Step 2: Select the design by referring Next Part(4. Select design theme)

Step 3: Import sample pages and static block. Refer Next Part (5. Import

sample pages and static block)

3. Quickstart Installation

This part is used for you to install the theme for a totally new store.

Step 1: Upload and unzip file

Upload file printshop_quickstart_ver3.0.zip to your server and unzip it.

If you want the Magento installation to be the primary of your domain

(i.e. to run from http://yoursite.com); you need to extract the content of

the installation package in the public_html folder.

On the other hand, if you want it to be in a subfolder like

http://yoursite.com/store/ you need to extract the content

to public_html/store/.

When you upload the package, you can extract it through your Panel -> File

Manager.

Step 2: Import sample database

- Import mg_printshop_ver3.0.sql into your database on your server

Step 3: Installation: Go to Magento installation process

- You want the Magento installation as the primary of your domain as the

last example, please install Magento in the public_html folder. When the

package is uploaded and extracted and you have a MySQL database, then

go to http://yoursite.com/:

- Click on the check box next to "I agree to the above terms and

conditions" and click onContinue button.

- Now, choose the preferred Time Zone, Locale and Currency and

press Continue button.

- Next, enter the database details: Database Name, User Name and User

Password. You can leave other options intact. Make sure that you place a

check on the "Skip Base URL validation before next step" option. Then,

click Continue button to proceed.


- In this part, you should enter the personal information and the admin

login details which you want to use. You can leave the Encryption Key

field empty and the script will generate one for you. Once more, click

the Continue button.


- Finally, Write down your encryption key. And it will be used by Magento to

encrypt passwords, credit cards and other confidential information.

- Your Magento installation was successfully completed. Now you can

navigate to Frontend or Backend.

4. Select design theme You just follow these steps:

- Login admin panel: Go to System->Design:


- Click on “Add Design Change” Button

- Select default-printshop in Custom Design Select box and Save changes


5. Import Sample pages and Static block

In order to have the installation of a demo, you are able to import static Blocks

and CMS pages.

- Login admin panel, Go to system->configuration->Cmsmart Theme-

>Theme settings ->Theme installation

- Click on "Import" buttons to create static blocks and Cms pages.

6. Add block permissions to version Magento 1.9.2.2

You should add block types for block permissions in System > Permissions >

Blocks of Magento 1.9.2.2

IV. Setting

1. Theme Setting Panel

After logging in the admin panel, go to System->Configuration->Cmsmart

Theme -> Theme settings. You can change options of your theme settings as

well as configuration here. Also, it is necessary to disable cache before you

start setting task and enable the cache when finishing.


1.1. General Settings

- Logo: Upload logo for store

- Logo Alt: Add alt attribute for logo image

- Boxed/Wide: Select boxed or wide for page

- Max container width: Select max width for container

- Google font: Select font base for store

1.2. Header

There are 9 different types of header for you to select, also you can change

content of the header in admin panel – CMS->static block:

You are possible to select 12 preset sections that offer various layouts in

Homepage. Also, you can change section position flexibility, and at the same

time show a Custom block at any position on Home page.

- Home section content: Select a section and position of it.

- Home section layout: Select layouts of section.


A. Section List categories (4 layout)

- Show some selected categories with thumbnail, name and url. To complete

this task, please take step by step by going to System->Configuration-

>Cmsmart Extensions->Category banner (on home)

- Select layout: select 1 of 4 layouts

- Category IDs: Fill category id of categories you want to show banner

- Category thumbnail: upload thumbnail of category corresponding to the

above category ids.

- Select Product Detail Base: You can do setting to show or not show block

in bottom detail page. In this block you can select whether to show Upsell

products and Related products

- Custom Tab Detail: You can show or not show tab info in detail page,

select type for tab (horizontal tab or accordion tab), select position for tab,

select show or hide elements in tab

- Custom Related Sidebar Detail: Set number items, show hide some

elements, type navigation for related products on sidebar.

- Custom Upsell Sidebar Detail: Setting number items, show hide some

elements, type navigation for upsell products on sidebar.

- Custom Product Shop Detail: Select show or hide some elements

(review, sku, stock, description) on product shop info section.

- Custom Social Product Shop: Select show or hide some elements (social,

button) on product shop info section.

1.7. Product labels

You can select Show or hide new, sale icon on some product lists on your

store.

2. Theme design panel

2.1. General

Theme color: In this option, you can set main color of the entire store,

and you can apply specific color settings in below options.


2.2. Header

- Custom: Select custom or don’t color on header


- Header General: Select background color for header, select transparent

for header on home page.

- Header Top: In these options, you can set color values for header top

section (background, border, icon, text, language, currency, icon hover,

text hover, background hover).

- Header Main: In these options, you can set color values for each

elementinside header main area. Attached a screenshot above to make

you easy to understand.

- Main menu: set color values for link(level 1) color and link hover’s color

of main menu.

2.3. Footer


- Custom: Select custom or don’t color on footer

- Footer Top: In these options, you can set color values for footer top

section (background, text, border and icons).

- Footer Main: In these options, you can set color values for each element

inside footer main area. Attached a screenshot above to make you easy to

understand.

- Footer Bottom: In these options, you can set color values for footer

bottom section(background, text, and link).

- Back to top button: In these options, you can set color values for back to

top button(background, background hover, text, text hover).

2.4. Detail

- Custom: Select custom or don’t color on detail page

- Navigation Slider Thumbnail: In these options, you can set color values

for nav icon thumbnail slider (background, border, icon, icon hover).


- Image Thumbnail: In these option, you can set color values for thumbnail

in slider (border, border hover).

- Custom Css Detail: In these options, you can set color values for some

3. Mega menu setting

3.1. Setting

Go to System->configuration->Cmsmart Extension->Mega menu and

follow instructions there. It describes how to:

- Enable : Enable or disable module.

- Show home link: Show or not home link in main menu.

- Menu type: Show menu horizontal or Vertical.

- Root category ID: Fill root category id.


3.2. Config category

To config mega menu for category please go to Catalog->Manage categories

select a category->tab mega menu.

You can show static block (top, left, bottom, right) on popup of categories. You

need create static block before config, to create static block, go to CMS->Static

block.

You also can show product on popup of categories by fill sku of product and

label into other config , view image for detail:

Answer: Yes, but after that you should change your logo, upload

your own products. Our demo templates are for demo.

VI. Troubleshooting

1. General issues after installation

1.1. Some features don't work or give errors

There are some possible problems as following:

- Magento cache (or external cache) was not flushed after we installed the

theme.

- Some of the theme files were not uploaded or even broken. To resolve this

issue, you just need to re-upload original theme files to your server (overwrite

existing files) and flush the cache. Note that files can be broken if you send

them in large numbers via FTP without zipping. So it is highly recommended

to upload zipped files.

- Theme wasn't enabled properly. Please refer to Installation for more details.

- You have some third-party extensions which change/break theme's default

or cause some conflicts. Disable all extensions and flush the cache, then enable

extensions one by one to check which one is causing problems. Refer to Third

party extensionsfor more details about third-party extensions.

- You edited theme files and accidentally removed or changed something in

the files. Re-upload original theme files to your server (overwrite existing

files) and flush the cache.

1.2. Blank page or 404 not found – when trying to open theme admin

pages

To overcome this issue, just log out from Magento admin panel, delete all

files in var/cache/ directory (to clear Magento cache), and log in again.

1.3. File Permission

Incorrect file permissions on your server may cause several issues. After

uploading any files to your server to install themes or extensions you need to

set correct file permissions for all of them– Certainly, the permission must be

set as same as for the default Magento files.

File permissions may differ depending on server – usually 755 for folders and

644 for files. In case of any doubts about permissions, please contact your

hosting provider. Refer to this article for more details:

1.4. "Package with this name does not exist" message is displayedwhen

trying to enable the theme

There are some main reasons of this:

- Theme files were not uploaded,

- or they are not in the correct place,

- or there is a problem with file permissions on your server

1.5. After you complete the theme installation the store gives blank

page or an error

At first, log out Magento admin panel. Change the owner of the uploaded

files to the web server user and set correct file permissions for them. Delete

all files in var/cache/directory (do not delete the directory) and log in again.

1.6. Tabs, sliders or other interactive elements don't work

This may be caused by jQuery conflicts: one of your custom extensions is

loading another version of jQuery. You need to remove that version of jQuery

or remove that extension.

1.7. Images are not displayed

Sometimes after installation some images on custom CMS pages or inside

static blocks (e.g. images in the slideshow) are not displayed. First, check

whether images were uploaded or not. And then correct paths to those files

can be found in the source code of your page (click CTRL+U in most

browsers).


Notes: In fresh Magento installation, the default sample home page tries to

load sample images which doesn't exist in this theme (so you will see blank

rectangles instead of images). Go to CMS > Pages > Home page, remove

the default content or replace it by your own content.

1.8. Slideshow is not displayed on the home page

Make sure the configuration of the slideshow is correct. Enable all the static

blocks which are used as slides in the slideshow. Finally, flush the cache.

2. Configuration

Theme configuration changes do not appear on the frontend

Flush Magento cache in System > Cache Management, clear web browser

cache/cookies for your store domain and refresh the page in your web

browser.

3. Third-party extensions

3.1. One of my extensions doesn't work with this theme

This theme is not compatible with all third-party extensions. During using

the template, there will appear conflicts when there are some extensions not

working with this theme. It is because the extension and the theme override

the same Magento template file, resulting in the problem. To resolve this case,

you need to customize the theme and merge two conflicting template files into

one template file. It is also recommended that this is not a specific issue, very

common rule of all Magento themes and extensions.

3.2. One of the features stopped working after third-party extension

was installed

There can be a conflict, if the extension and the theme override the same

Magento template file. You should contact the author of the extension for


more information. Also, check your log files in var/log/ (log settings should be

enabled in System >Config> Developer) for more details.
