SENIOR CAMP Most of our senior school students and teachers eagerly boarded the bus yesterday morning to go to Camp Rumbug for 3 days of exciting adventure. Despite it being cold, the rain held off as our excited campers were waved off by parents, friends and staff, who are all looking forward to hearing the wonderful stories about camp when everyone returns on Friday.

The Coral Park Facebook page last night let us know that everyone had been having a great time, enjoyed dinner and were all rugged up ready for a night walk. It’s good to hear everyone is having so much fun and great to see them all looking so happy!

HATS September to May is No Hat No Play…

If you don’t have a blue broad brimmed hat you can buy one from the office for $10. Despite the cold, wintery weather, everyone now needs to be wearing a school hat whenever they are outside. Please make sure your hat is clean and in good condition so you can be sunsmart while out in the school yard.

COMMUNITY BOOK SWAP Coral Park is excited to offer a new Book Swap service to our school community. We have a bookcase in the MPC foyer full of novels, magazines and books available to parents, friends, caregivers, older siblings and staff. Feel free to borrow some reading material from the Book Swap and return it to the bookcase when you have finished with it. Enjoy a variety of

different books and show your kids how much you value reading. Be a great role model while doing something relaxing and healthy!

IMMUNISATION Thank you to the many people who have provided copies of their child’s immunisation certificate as requested. It is most important to provide these immunisation certificates to the school urgently, even if your child’s immunisations are not up to date or completed. If you require assistance applying for a copy of the certificate or do not have access to a computer, please come to the office as we are happy to help you.

Middle School Excursion

On Thursday August 31st, the middle students were lucky enough to venture into the city and head to ACCA and the NGV. At ACCA we created a piece of artwork based on the idea of our changing landscapes. At the NGV we saw lots of paintings and sculptures, even some Indonesian shadow puppets that we had investigated back at school! A fun day was had by all.
