Over the years people have destroyed coral.

Some people have used dynamite to blast off

big chunks of coral. Tourists have bought

coral to put in their garden.

Many people have used knifes,

hammers, and metal poles to prod

on the Coral while searching for

interesting sea creatures.

Sometimes they've even blasted

the Reef with dynamite or poured

bleach to stun the fish which will

then float to the surface. These

things are strictly banned! A lot

of things that happen on land

effect the sea as well.

They need warm water, sunlight, shallow waters, and

clear water. Coral wont grow in water if

it is lower than 68 degrees”.

Coral eats small shrimp and plankton”.

l?Parrotfish, butterfly fish,

angelfish, sea slugs, snails,

worms and the crown of thorns starfish”.
