Cornwall and Virgin Orbit are committing to a partnership seeking to deliver a horizontal launch Spaceport at Cornwall Airport Newquay, UK by 2021.
This will create a satellite technology cluster of national importance and the potential for Cornwall to be a focus for global innovations in rapid transit and space-related launch technology.
