Coronet Boats

Just like the Americans, Europe wanted to straighten up

after the war: Everyone dreamt of The American Way of

Life, and the Coronet Boats were part of the solution.

Coronet Boats understood how to use consumers quickly

growing focus on design, speed and quality.

Coronet became a worldwide success

At the beginning of the 60s, Coronet Boats created a

worldwide dealer network: From Greenlands icy coast to

the Amazon River in the Brazilian rain forest there was

no harbour without a Coronet.

In 1965, Ole Botved succeeded in setting the speed record

around Zealand in a Coronet 21 Daycruiser, when he cov-

ered the distance in 6 hours and 30 minutes.

A classic is born

The Coronet 21 Daycruiser was introduced in 1965 and be-

came Coronet Boats greatest success: When production

was at its highest, one Coronet 21 Daycruiser was made

every day. In 1972, when production was at its highest,

Coronet Boats produced 1,000 boats per year and

exported to approx. 100 countries. Today, the Coronet 21

Daycruiser has achieved cult status among Coronet

enthusiasts in most of Europe.

The legendary Coronet returns after 15

years

With the production line at a standstill, the Coronet

Yachts Denmark took over and a new classic was born.

CORONET 240 DC CLASSIC

When sailing the Coronet 240, its not hard to notice the

e" ects of the ground-breaking V-shaped bottom that

made and still makes the Coronet boats special.

The hydraulic steering has a perfect hold on the Duo-Prop

drive, which makes the boat pleasant and calm to sail.

You clearly notice that you are sailing a yacht. There is

power to spare from the inboard diesel engine, and the

boats calm sailing gives a clear impression of a much

larger yacht.

Was the day and evening - not enough? Although we

call the Coronet 240 a day cruiser it works ! ne as a week-

ender, too. The spacious front cabin, pantry and toilet is

ideal at night or more.
