For over 50 years, Chemionics Corporation has been a leading custom formulator and compounder of plastisols, natural latex, synthetic latex, and other polymers for a wide range of industrial & commercial applications.

We are continually developing formulation solutions specific to customers’ needs and industry demands. All products are manufactured in our 90,000 square foot, ISO 9001:2008 registered facility to ensure the highest quality standards are met. Chemionics, located in Tallmadge, Ohio, is a privately held, wholly-owned subsidiary of Chessco Industries of Westport, Connecticut.

Chemionics provides the broadest range of compounding capabilities in the industry. Our production facilities are designed to accommodate customers’ unique requirements across many polymer types. We continually monitor the quality of incoming raw materials. We also maintain an extensive inventory to ensure short lead-times and on-time shipment performance. Along with significant batch size flexibility, we offer a wide range of packaging alternatives, including drums, tote containers, and tank trucks. Toll compounding services are also available in any batch size, and with all polymer types.

Chemionics offers extensive technical expertise, and maintains a full research and development laboratory with highly trained chemists. Our R&D staff continually explores ways to improve product performance, environmental compliance, and cost efficiency of our compounds. Our laboratory enables us to offer customers new product development, as well as on-site assistance with production processing. All production batches are thoroughly tested for conformance to customers’ specifications through our quality control procedures.

Our technically trained sales personnel provide comprehensive knowledge and can offer assistance in problem solving, processing, and new product development. With our wealth of expertise, Chemionics can formulate compounds with the widest range of properties in order to achieve optimal product performance.

Chemionics Corporation is a global supplier of custom formulated compounds. We provide our products to both domestic and international customers. We have the capability to accommodate international destinations such as Canada, Mexico, Asia & Europe. Our staff is well trained on the required documentation, and can readily work with international brokers to coordinate and ensure a successful transaction. Our ISO 9001:2008 registration signifies our Quality Management System meets international standards of excellence.

Chemionics can custom formulate most products to meet various domestic and international requirements, such as RoHS, REACH, California Proposition 65, and CPSIA. We also formulate compounds to meet the industry standards for non-phthalate and latex-free products.

Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and proper labeling to meet the Global Harmonized System of Classification & Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) are readily available for all products.
