XFdtd Full-Wave 3D EM Solver • XFdtd is a full-wave Maxwell solver using the finite difference time-domain
(FDTD) method
• Remcom was first innovator to produce a universally-usable commercial FDTD solver – First introduced 1994
• Performance options: GPU acceleration (up to 500x speedup), multiprocessor, MPM, 64 bit

XGtd High Frequency Solver • General purpose, high frequency EM solver for antenna radiation, RCS,
and co-site interference – Based on techniques such as Uniform Theory of Diffraction (UTD), Physical Optics
(PO), and Method of Equivalent Currents (MEC) – Performance and memory requirements less dependent on electrical size of
objects, making the software ideally suited for high-frequencies and electrically large objects
