LOGO, SIZE & PROTECTIVE AREA

LOGO SIZE

PROTECTIVE AREA

DEFAULT SIZEThe default logo width of 100 % corresponds to 100 mm for print applications respectively 100 px for digital appli cations. To modify the size of a logo, scale it by entering a new percentage value.

PROTECTIVE AREA The protective area is a clear space that surrounds our logo, ensuring that it is never lost among other elements. The protective area of the logo is defined by height of “M”.

The protective area of the symbol is defined by ½ of symbol width.

SYMBOL ONLY

The Megadyne logo consists of the symbol and the word mark. We use the logo in red on a white background. Depending on the application, the logo may also be used in black or white.

The symbol can only be used in specific applications as a stand-alone design element.

NoteThe Megadyne logo is available in digital form for all appropriate reprographic processes.

LOGO WITH CLAIM

The Megadyne logo with the claim "Powering Global Industry" is used in applications where the logo is the only communicative message. For example in give-aways or sponsoring.

Please make sure that the logo with the claim is placed in a size that can be produced and has no readability issues. The minimum size of the print application is 35 mm logo width.

LOGO COLORS

Our logo is used in Red on a white background.

If the design makes it necessary to choose another background, we ensure a contrast so that the lettering is readable. We avoid complex, busy and low-contrast backgrounds.

Use the white logo on red backgrounds and images.

Use the black logo for non-color applications.

Megadyne Red

PRIMARY COLORMegadyne Red as the main color defines with black and white our corporate design.

Our secondary colors refer to Ammega and the business brands. They are mainly used in charts or business relevant relations.

In general, we use full-tone color. However, if the colors need to be extended, they can also be used in lighter tones.

The Megadyne corporate font is Helvetica Neue LT Std which stands out for its ele-gance and timelessness. The display version is Black Italic in capital letters. It gives the design a very specific identity and is taken directly from the logotype.

For stationery and MS Office templates we use the font "Verdana".


IMAGERY

Allowed photo styles are as follows:

The use of color for diagrams and graphics in PPT is defined within the ppt template. There are two versions:

OVERVIEW

Our most important communication tool is our logo. Whenever possible we use the red version. We want to make a strong technical statement with our means of communication. It is the white space that provides the basis for this in the appearance.

Red is our main color, which is to be used wisely. Every detail that catches the eye is colored red.

These applications are alsolabelled by the endorsementcopy “Member of AmmegaGroup”. The size and font selection of the endorsement copy is based on the smallest text size of the application.

The date is in the 12th line. The reference lines (your reference, our reference, division, direct dial) follows after one further line space. The subject line (what the letter is about) follows after two further line spaces. Then comes salutation „Dear …“, ending with a comma. The body of the letter follows after a line space. It must always be single spaced, left aligned and never justifi ed. Justifi cation is not used because the letter then looks like a computer message – the most impersonal form of communication.
